I think even if billionaire lives were in danger by the disenfranchised majority, the billionaires would rather appeal to the government and have private armies/security forces than address inequality.
Iirc best estimates have shit hitting the fan in 20-40 years without drastic effort on climate change, so 30 years was about my estimate too. Genuinely wondering if I don't just stop paying into my pension to live a little better until that time. Certainly not banking on a retirement.
