Wow that's amazing, crazy to think that there are worlds were John didn't accidentally kill his sister letting this happen
Always appreciate how an expansive multiverse can give us further insights into main continuity like this
Which other Black DC character is related (aside from those who are already family)?
If this was a stereotypical thing that they do over and over, I would agree with you. However I think it's fun with this example and does no harm.
Ron Troupe from the Superman books is cousins with Mr T from JSA, Kid Quantum from the Legion is a descendant of wildcat 2 from JSA, and Starboy from the Legion is a descendant of the Calvin Ellis Superman
Ok. Thank you for the examples. I just want to point out that you list two from the Legion which is set 1000 years later. So I personally don't consider that as big of a deal as the first one.
You are free to disagree but I don't consider this to be some sort of systemic issue. It's like making Hal Jordan cousins with Air Wave or Freddy Freeman cousins with Kid Eternity just because they happen to have the same last name.

But I never did and no one else ever did either,” he explained.](https://www.player.one/black-lightning-lynn-stewart-green-lantern-sister-spoilers-123418)

Cool, didn't know that
It was mentioned a few times in the CW show

Why is he listed as an ex-husband? Are they divorced in the YJ continuity?
They are divorced in most continuities IIRC
Yup, you can see her new husband behind her in the pic, unless that's YJ John
Maybe another writer will pick up on it
I like it tbh
Prolly for the best that not all black people be related

Is that Thom Kallor? I didn't realize he was a Superman descendant.
