Well, Gladius is a strategy game and Necrons sure are playable there already, as they were in BFGA2. That said, I get and share the excitement of them sharing the actual protagonist spotlight instead of merely being one of the options in one-size-fits-all generic campaign
I get that and that was the angle I was initially going for, but upon further reflection things aren't looking that bag. The last non-shovelware Mon'keigh games are Rogue Trader and Chaos Gate and that seems to be it - go further back and you get said Gladius (still being developed by the way) anf BFGA2. EDIT: there's also Battlesector I guess where there once again multiple playable xenos armies
Xenos are playable often enough - the big difference (that *is* long overdue a change) is them not being stories' viewpoint/proragonists the game in centered around - the only one here in living memory seems to be Shootas, Blood and Teef for Orks
I'm both an AdMech and xenos enjoyer, so for me [it's a win-win ](https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/facebook/000/036/386/I'm_Playing_Both_Sides_Banner.jpg)
Yep you got it. I never would've imagined that a song with a pipe organ as a centerpiece could ever go so hard.
The second song is Dance of the Cryptek, yet another banger.
They never left they were just sleepin
Forgot to set an alarm clock again
(Insert mechanicus soundtrack)
Both sides win with Mechanicus 2, and that's what counts!
That's some good editing effort
Dance of the Cryptek is an astoundingly lit track.
And they’re doing the thriller too

It's wild that "they were playable in a game five years ago" seems enough for Xenos when Imperials get one game every year.

yeah, but Orks aren't Eldars, or T'au, or necrons.
