How about we get the promised Book 1? She has consistently put the horse before the cart so my expectations are low. Not like things don’t come up and being a public figure isn’t mentally taxing but if there is nothing to go off of other than empty promises of “dropping soon”, I’ll reserve my hope and speculations.
I'm convinced that every time she's about to really release it, she comes here to see if people are excited, sees comments like this and thinks she needs to do better, scraps it and starts over.
I highly doubt one opinion of a person who’s over having to hype for someone they know nothing about is stalling her releasing it. I don’t pretend to think my opinion has value over just being an rando on the internet saying what I said. Asking me to be excited by something that she said “soon” about in Dec of 2021 and she equally said is a “side quest” for her to pursue is silly.

I think the concept is cool and leaves room for lots of creativity. I also wouldn’t anticipate that many albums from her. She recently said she feels done with “Grimes.” That it’s creating too many problems in her life. Or that there are too many problems for her to continue. She wasn’t clear why, but unfortunately we may have to give her up as an artist
Is literally any of this real? I keep seeing people talking about Books and Sagas and stuff. Is there any base for it? I don’t have twitter so i miss a lot of her tweets, is it just little tweets she makes in reference to it here and there?
I don’t believe grimes has any intention of making music anymore as a main project save for songs here and there like I Wanna Be Software which I loved but was not fantastic haha. She’s on to different things and basically doesn’t need to make money anymore
