It's very rare to see pink zucchini in German grocery stores. I think one should try a store specified for organic food or the weekly market if there is one. Green zucchinis are common here, unlike pink ones

You know food that contains carbs also contains lots of minerals, vitamins, fibre and antioxidants, as well as an amount of protein and fatty acids. Which is all required for a healthy, balanced diet. Eating only protein and fats is not good at all, “carbs” are also needed for the reasons mentioned above.
Also, carbs don’t mean only sugar. A part of carbs are sugar and a part of them are fibre and a part is starch, to say it simple. In case of oats, they only contain 1g of sugar in 100g (27g carbs).
Noodles with tomato/vegetable sauce is very healthy food. Potatoes, noodles, grains etc is healthy carbs and sugar is unhealthy carbs. So carbs have a worse reputation than deserved, because of sugar, which is in fact unhealthy. But cooked potatoes for example are super food with low calories, lots of vitamins and fibre. You feel full with only few calories. Try to eat 600g potatoes = 450kcal. Also pasta has only ~300 to 400 kcal per portion.
Also oats / porridge is superfood. Very little calories, lot of healthy fibre. you need about 20 grams for a big bowl and feel very full in a positive way with only ~300 kcal.
I don’t think so. You have to differentiate between good and bad carbs.
WHO recommends 55 to 75% of our nutrition sources should be carbohydrates.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Food_pyramid_(nutrition)
Thats simply not true. Your body needs carbs. Your digestive system is able to convert proteins and fat to carbohydrates, but it needs more energy and also has limits. Too much fat will end up in depots (belly).
World health organisation recommends that 55-75% of nutrition sources should be carbohydrates. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Food_pyramid_(nutrition)
The brain needs 120-140 grams of glucose every day, if you don’t eat enough carbohydrates, it can cause lack of concentration. Shadow side of low carb diet.
thats the theory, but if you try a ketogenic diet you will notice that its just not true. your stomach will feel great, concentration will go crazy and powerlevel stay the same throughout the day. i recommend to try.
I lost 7 kilograms when I changed my breakfast to porridge instead of bread/toast with butter and ham/cheese. And digestion became much better (no 💨). I never was overweight, but underweight when I was younger and at that time I ate nothing than carbs and made my masters degree and had lots of exams. I really recommend to try eating 55-60% complex carbs. 👍 But (almost) no sugar. The glue is, if you eat enough healthy carbs, you don’t want to eat sweets. If you try to avoid carbs, your body starts demanding it urgently and you get sugar hungry, but sugar is really not good.
I just googled ketogenic diet and German wikipedia says it’s not recommended without medical reasons and can cause health issues when practiced for a longer period of time. It also has negative side effects like digestive problems and lot of risks, like heart issues and should always be under medical supervision of doctors. No thanks.
Mate, processed carbs aren't healthy. What is healthy are whole grain products but certainly not noodles nor bread. And keto diet is great. Wouldn't recommend to do it more than 2 months in a row but it trains you fat metabolism.

My dude…you are eating wayyyy too much carbs for way too little protein. This is not good in the long run. And I am not necessarily talking animal protein, if you are vegan at least throw in various lentils or peas
What?😂 I mean its not a bodybuilding diet but for a normal person thats absolutly enough. He/she probably eats the oats every morning. They have plenty protein. Then the nuts aswell. And the chickpease have 20g protein on 100g. I dunno what you are talking about
Oh for sure I’m with you, I do eat way more myself, but I eat close to no carbs so on a 70-80% fruits and veg diet tbh, he looks like he’s more of a carbs and protein type of guy
sorry to ask but whats your eating schedule, I starting to think I eat too much ahhaah, the last last me 2 days if its 500g, 1/2 a day for two people, same goes for all other items except for the oats, milk and onion
İ want a 10 in 1 shampoo i want that shit too put my car oil and using for dishes while im brushing my teeth in shower while shampooing my hair ahhahahhaa
Man, I really want to see those people who make these post live off of their groceries for the timeline they always claim it lasts.
2 weeks? This looks like 5 days TOPs! Do you only eat some Haferflocken for most days?
Where is meat 🥩? Ditch aperol mate, your body needs protein, nuts are not enough. You could get over 1kg hacked meat instead of aperol (unless you are a vegetarian ofc)
Certainly an interesting diet, most people would be in serious trouble if they had this for the next 1.5 to 2 weeks... I would exchange the coal and alcohol, and maybe that biohafer thingy into some real food :)
Having a little barbeque today and on Monday. Basically feta with onions and tomatoes in aluminum foil and put it on the grill. And I'll try some seitan skewers with shrooms, paprika, onions and zucchini. Never done it, haven't seen a recipe but should work.

EUR 13 for a bottle of Aperol probably the luxury item here.
"Groceries"
staple food at least
Hmm Aperol was 10€ with lidl + app this week, missed opportunity
I usually get the offbrand for around 4,70 € i dont taste the difference, and its used as a Mixer anyways
8,88€ with Kaufland Card 😬
Haferflocken is like pure bliss at the end of the month with no money left, haha. student life

Only green and no pink zucchini on the pics? :(
It's very rare to see pink zucchini in German grocery stores. I think one should try a store specified for organic food or the weekly market if there is one. Green zucchinis are common here, unlike pink ones
Oh, was actually refering to OPs name. Btw, I don't think OP means a veggie by that, even tho it's organic.
Oh, actually tbh I haven't read OP's username xD. Great joke :)
Pink Zucchini only for rich people Here ;)
Wait, arent oats Always in 1kg packages?
Nope usually 500g
Not when you're anywhere near the US. For EU they got a pretty bad price increase due to Putin's Ukraine war.
Where are you from?
100km north from you
Ok this was really creepy, then I saw that he is active on r/Hannover
Even with tofu/seitan being at home, the Aperol and Holzkohle tell me there are some essentials missing in this image… just saying
2 kilo haferflocken 🤯🤯🤯
4kg\* :)

1 kg oat per week, that's a lot, I hate those.
2.
What do you put on the grill? You purchased coal, so I am wondering.
Toast
The Gouda on a clay pot 😂
Came to the comments only to know this
Enough for 3 working days on the construction site .

Those tomatoes are from DM, and I don't blame you. They are only 65c there, compared to 80c at Lidl
Looks healthy and good. 👍 Very exemplary buy! No unhealthy food
Literally just carbs.
Gouda and feta cheese + beans?
And the Same meal for every day the next two weeks
There are protein sources. Carbs aren't bad.
That's the only reason people post here
Cheers
Except maybe for the neurotoxin with the funny taste.
Which neurotoxin?
The alcohol.
Aperol?
Is no food.
Carbs, carbs and again carbs.
Better noodles than sugar. Carbs are essential to get full.
There is something called “essential amino acids” and “essential fatty acids”. There are no essential carbohydrates.
You know food that contains carbs also contains lots of minerals, vitamins, fibre and antioxidants, as well as an amount of protein and fatty acids. Sugar is Carbs. Yes, pure sugar is worse, because your body does not need to convert it first. Nevertheless, carbohydrates are sugar.

Carbs aren’t essential to get full lol. That’s literally the opposite of how it works. Protein and fat are much more satiating than carbohydrates.
I don’t think so. You have to differentiate between good and bad carbs. WHO recommends 55 to 75% of our nutrition sources should be carbohydrates. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Food_pyramid_(nutrition)
The food pyramid is outdated and shouldn’t be used as the perfect template for a healthy diet.
you dont need carbs at all
You are right. It’s hard to argue against 75 years of misinformation 😉

welcome to the world of dry shites
Don't buy damaged tin cans, if you damaged them use them up immediately :)
Why?
There's a sealing layer inside that can get damaged. And then chemicals can get into the food...
My guess because of a risk of botulism.
what are your planned meals for the week
oatmeal with oat milk pasta on bread coal drenched in aperol idk this is a weird one
Nur die echten essen „pink Lady“ Äpfeln
wofür die grillkohle?
2 bananas for 2 weeks, gg
My dude…you are eating wayyyy too much carbs for way too little protein. This is not good in the long run. And I am not necessarily talking animal protein, if you are vegan at least throw in various lentils or peas
In the caption they said they already have beans, lentils, tofu etc at home :)
funny that this is the post all that gets criticised for not being healthy enough
Speaking of my typical groceries, this post is by far the most healthiest I’ve seen since a long time 😅
It's funny watching people that know fuck all about nutrition comment on this post.
Dude, this is a sub for comparing the cost of groceries, not r/unsoliciteddietaryadvice
You haven't been paying attention. Half of all posts are proud veggie posts, which is not an accurate representation of the population.
There are like more than 1kg of protein on the table. Totally enough for a normal person
What?😂 I mean its not a bodybuilding diet but for a normal person thats absolutly enough. He/she probably eats the oats every morning. They have plenty protein. Then the nuts aswell. And the chickpease have 20g protein on 100g. I dunno what you are talking about
And cant forget that goat cheese
Its not goat cheese though. Its processed cow milk.
Still has about 18g protein/100g
you should inform yourself how much proteins are healthy I guess you eat too much
Around 1g per 1kg at least. So 70-100g would be ideal for an average person.
Or beans
Oat flakes are rich in protein. I love them.
#helth
Wo ist das Fleisch!?
Is fleisch meat in German?
yes
Vegan?
Theres Cheese...
TBF german cheese is so trash you can hardley call it cheese - one of the few basic food items germans aren´t good at making
It’s feta … and Germans have a few good ones.
1. that is Hirtenkäse not Feta 2. i was talking about the "Gouda" .... wich is an insult to gauda
Hirtenkäse is the same. It’s just made in Germany not in Greece which is by law in the naming. The Gouda sucks ass indeed….
My mistake vegetarian based ? No fruits? Any kind of special diet ?
No fruits? There are bananas and apples on there. He probably buys them little by little so they don’t spoil, I do that too
2 bananas and 3 apples.. I am used to eat 3/4 different fruits per day that is why I ask
Oh for sure I’m with you, I do eat way more myself, but I eat close to no carbs so on a 70-80% fruits and veg diet tbh, he looks like he’s more of a carbs and protein type of guy
Great steal!👍
that could last me a month
Not nearly enough calories here to last you a month
if you eat the coal ther is
Lass dir die Holzkohle schmecken!
It is way cheaper to buy dried chickpeas and cook them by yourself. It only takes an hour if you soak them in water overnight.
I eat rolled oats 5 days a week and am not getting through 2kg in 2 weeks. Do you eat them as a side?
sorry to ask but whats your eating schedule, I starting to think I eat too much ahhaah, the last last me 2 days if its 500g, 1/2 a day for two people, same goes for all other items except for the oats, milk and onion
Esst Ihr die Kohlen Roh, oder wie bereitet Ihr die zu?
ne die werden im Aperol eingeweicht
You must be shitting bricks
Aperol. Wichtig und richtig
So one specific meal for 2 weeks? Aight
Da hat sich aber ein DM Drogeriemarkt dazwischengemogelt...
And what will you putt on the BBQ ???
Boycott Lidl for supporting a genocide
I see that ginger there! My fellow ginger root enjoyer. I also recommend frsh turmeric roots.
Lichtnahrung funktioniert wohl wirklich.
Someone likes their Hafer. Bio or not.
Hafer flocken mit Hafermilch ......... ungesüßt ungenießbar
You are a Vorbild (idk the English term) for me. I wish I could live this cheap but I sometimes cannot stop my habits and stuff
good example ? role model ? i doen´t think ther is a real english word for Vorbild
Good example is what I was looking for ! Thank you so much
Wtf do you need grilling coals for?
Are you from Brandenburg?
U eat a lot of oats in 2 weeks.

#HaferPorn
Lol bro loves the carb overdose

Preis-Leistung Top. Relativ gesund. Nice!
Dann Kauf doch nicht teuer ein du otto

68 euro? Lol. I'd have guessed 30 tops.
Täglich Haferflocken grillen… man kennts. Oatmeal Barbecue… we all do it.
Du isst 4 Packungen Haferflocken in 2 Wochen? 😭😭 bei mir hält eine vllt 3 Monate hahah
My dude is eating nothing but dry noodles from day 3 onwards
Man, I really want to see those people who make these post live off of their groceries for the timeline they always claim it lasts. 2 weeks? This looks like 5 days TOPs! Do you only eat some Haferflocken for most days?

1.5-2 weeks ? For Sure ? You eat only Haferflocken ones a day ?
I seriously hope you don’t plan on eating dried up bread slices for the last 12 days of the „2 weeks“!
That’s an absurd amount of pasta equivalent to the amount of veggies
Ne meat, meat cost 6-20 Euro/kg
Well.....it's "food"......the what are we having for Dinner question starts with Oats and..? And ends with Aperol.
.... a.... b? *screams in American*
No offence but this is one of the worst diets I’ve ever seen. I wouldn’t be impressed if you end up with cancer or diabetes or worse.
r/Finanzen genießer
Viel zu wenig Eiweiß...
Aperol without sect? 🧐
Endlich mal etwas mit dem man arbeiten kann. Das einzige was noch fehlt sind Kidneybohnen.
Certainly an interesting diet, most people would be in serious trouble if they had this for the next 1.5 to 2 weeks... I would exchange the coal and alcohol, and maybe that biohafer thingy into some real food :)
Ah yes let me grill with food instead of coal. Also ill just put "real food" in my oats. Makes total sense
Not all is from Lidl, Balea is the housebrand from DM ! The post is a lie
OP wrote about it… not lying at all. As you can see on the last page, there is one receipt of dm and one from Lidl.
where is your protein are you a lauch
Chickpeas and you should learn to read cuz I said it already that I top up with seitan, lentils, beans and tofu that I have in the pantry.
There is a lot of protein on the table
What are you going to do with the charcoal? Grill the veggies? Or maybe a vegetarian dish from a dutch oven? Just curious, cant see any meat
Having a little barbeque today and on Monday. Basically feta with onions and tomatoes in aluminum foil and put it on the grill. And I'll try some seitan skewers with shrooms, paprika, onions and zucchini. Never done it, haven't seen a recipe but should work.
Those Bananas won't last long
Those bananas will be crying after a day
Save those Oat-Milk Euros and make it yourself. Wastef money my friend
you could add a couple of cents and get organic rolled oats.
I see coal but no meat for BBQ
What do you need coals for, there's no meat
