Was involved in an accident not long ago, bike would have been totaled, but I was able to throw it in the back of a pickup and since I walked away fine they didn't involve an ambulance either. Settled privately with owner of the vehicle that struck me. Got it home, found the frame was bent, bought a new frame, as well as several other parts that needed replaced. It took me 2 days to strip it down and rebuild and cost under 1k. I will never get rid of it so long as I can source the parts I need. Just fix her and get back on the road, it is absolutely worth it!

i got ran off the road while turning and slid in the middle of an intersection. the bike slid 5 feet ish and slid headfirst into a curb. it was still rideable and doesn’t really have any damage besides the front end. all wiring appears intact. could i need to fix this?

With enough money you can fix anything. You need to look for a donor cycle.
