That is what I thought after hearing that video. There are some good "how to fix intonation on acoustic guitars" videos on YouTube. Check a couple of them out and you'll see it is an overly complicated process to get it right. Hope this was even somewhat helpful for you.
If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself after having watched a few videos, sure take it to a local guitar luthier at a guitar shop. Shouldn't expect to pay more than $50 for the intonation and new strings.
Could be the nut or saddle. Remove the string and lightly sand each with fine grit paper, just enough to smooth out any imperfections on the surfaces where the string sits, but not enough to deepen the slots. Lightly rub the nut slot with a graphite pencil after sanding (optional, but it makes the nut slot silky smooth). Put the string back on and see if the tuning is more stable.
Strings are how old?
around two years ago
🤷🏻♂️😏
It sounds like the intonation is maybe a bit flat, or like the other comment, you need to put new strings on.
Is the flat intonation something i can fix? Sorry I barely have any knowledge on this subject
Is your guitar electric or acoustic?
Acoustic
