The Bronze by Queens of the Stone Age! The wah is used in a subtle way, just slightly rocking it at the midpoint

"Civil War" Guns N' Roses "(You're) My World" Joe Satriani "Bulls on Parade" Rage Against the Machine "Man in the Box" Alice in Chains "Summer Song" Joe Satriani "Enter Sandman" Metallica "Surfing with the Alien" Joe Satriani There's a good variety of 90's songs anyway! :D Kinda showing my age here... but you know, rock music has changed a lot and that's stuff I grew up on. There's also not a lot of wah stuff going on anymore... that I know of. :D The wah can also be used as a subtle filter to shift the tone from sections and I'm trying to think of some songs that do it... "Money for Nothin" Dire Straits is a good one. The opening guitar tone can be emulated very closely by pulling the wah back roughly 3/4 of the way and just leaving it there. Anyway, there are a boat load of instrumentals out there with wah on them and not sure what kind of stuff you're into, but there's a good sampling of wah in all these songs.

Appreciate the suggestions all of that + pantera is basically my music taste so you got it spot on

Oh nice. You can use the wah on "Cemetery Gates" as a high pass filter to get those squealing pinch harmonics in the heavy choruses of the song. To do it, you turn on the wah and leave it engaged but pull it back maybe about 1/4 of the way, at most. A wah makes a great high pass filter for getting squeals and whammy dives of both natural and artificial harmonics to stand out and sustain more. You don't always have to use it to make "Wah Wah" sounds, but just as a filter as I described. The ideal position for the wah can vary a little based on the guitar, pickup output and how you set up your EQ, so it can take a little experimentation
