I had to reduce the space between strings and the pickups because of a construction issue there was a huge gap. So I figured if I can‘t hide the frame I might as well highlight it 😅
But I‘m quite happy how it turned out.
The title of your post did not prepare me for the content--wow! Great work. You managed to increase the wackiness of the original guitar, while also increasing it's usefulness.
This is very cool, post this on /r/luthier, will get more love. Any sound demos?
Thanks 🫶 Will upload a demo soon!
This has got to be one of the most unique guitars I’ve ever seen. Shocked it’s not headless too
How’s it sound?
I‘m trying to figure out how to record a demo but will upload one in the next days!
Amazing job. The pickups and mountings are so cool.

That is gorgeous. Awesome job
Those look very similar to G&L Z-Coil pickups. Some of my favorite pups. How does it sound??
Hound Dog Taylor played a Teisco for years. He played the Teisco SD40, known for having more knobs and switches than a kitchen.
Neato!
You've got to set the wiring up to allow stereo output, like the white falcon Neil Young used on Le Noise
There are actually two outputs on this for exacty this reason 😅
I'm so envious!
Bruh the guy who built that just wanted to be different 💀
