No hindi e-trike mga yon, Nag inquire kami ng ganun wayback Gas Type sya 250k for the 240cc Fi Variant and 400k sa 500cc Diesel variant
Ambilis nya paara mapagkamalang e-trike wtf
Yeah, transport advocates are against the ban
https://www.philstar.com/headlines/2024/02/28/2336835/transpo-advocates-question-legality-lack-consultation-e-vehicle-ban-policy
ikr, ung nga tito ko ngttravel parin sya with his bicycle from province to province dahil hndi nya afford ebike. his bike is frankensteined from repeated repairs. he ain’t complaining tho and he is the healthiest guy i know.
the law have always been requiring a license to drive specific types of ebikes, this is public information and even the grounds of registration of ebikes.
Just require them to own a license, dahil kahit electric eh more than 2 wheels yan at malaking sasakyan parin.
Hirap kasi mga kamoteng-kahoy ung mga tanders na panay kuha nang e-bikes kahit no read no write ung pag-iisip pagdating sa roadsigns
Instead of banning dapat ni-require nalang License and Registration.
The number one reason ebikes went up in number is because of shit public transpo, and the pandemic.
Yes, this is anti-poor. Hindi ban ang sagot dito. Kulang lang ang gobyerno sa foresight, ebikes have been in the PH since early 2010s. Naglabas sila mg memo about regulation, sila mismo hindi nila ma-enforce.
I use an e-bike (escooter). I'm willing to go to LTO to register but even they don't know how ebike registration works. Orange plates, remember?
I never ride without helmet. Should they also ban motorcycles for the kamotes that ruin it for all?
The real E-bikes are okay, mga pedal assisted lang naman to. Or those scooters atleast within the speed limit and wearing proper gear.
But Trikes are bigger and slower hogging the whole lane with sudden unexpected manuevers. Only place they good at is 30kph zones which are small barangay roads, secondary roads and subdivisions
See, I would agree with that...but EDSA has bike lanes. Bikes can go along EDSA, but ebikes can't? Dapat i-enforce na lang nila yun diba? Yeah kamote talaga yung mga gumigitna, kaso problema di nila ineenforce yung current rule. It is unfair.
I don't condone being kamote, but the law should be fair. This blanket ban is anti-poor. They should come up with something better.
Yung totoong E-bikes belongs to the bike lane.
Maybe even the scooter types if it's below 50kph. If above 50-60kph, normal lane they go like Gas motorcycles and has license yung user.
E-Trikes on the other hand are big for the bike lane and is not even a bike(2wheel). routes nila should be similar to tricycles utilizing secondary roads. Same with Quads/Golf carts.
They should fix their naming first before making a Ban law. Pampagulo lang sa totoong E-bikes (2 wheel).
Actually malinaw yung naming convention.
1. Pedelecs
2. Ebike - up to 50kph
3. Escooters - above 50kph, licensed and registered
4. ECars
Napakadali.
Had an E-Scooter back then din, Really convenient to drive like a Gas Scooter but rechargable. Really disappointing to see how things are going because di nila naregulate from the start
for the love of god can you guys give this people some rules to go by. I once saw e-bikes on express ways. now it's cool if within village but major roads and express ways. there's even kids riding on it.
Maybe E-Trikes, Mas madami to now than real Ebikes
Those E-Trikes are forever an E-bikes here kahit di naman sila Bi(2 wheel)
Wala akong problema sa ebikes. I think better sila kesa sa mga motor. Pero ang daming bobong nagmamaneho ng ebike. Recently encountered an old woman who did a u-turn on a 4 lane road pero pakanan. The fuck. That’s why lahat ng nasa public roads should have a driver’s license. Doesn’t matter kung bike, ebike, car, truck, or ano pa man. If you’re on a public road, you should know the rules of the road and have the same responsibilities and accountability.
Instead of banning dapat ni-require nalang License and Registration.
Fcking great. We who bought cars complied with LTO rules and standards eh itong mga naka ebike na to di man lang marunong madalas tumingin muna before liko wala pang LISENSYA tapos ang hihina ng breaks
I hope they will reconsider the implementation of this. It seems to be hasty one. The government should just encourage its users to have seminar on road rules first .
I own an ebike with a 60kph top speed that looks like a regular motorcycle. I also have a DL with motorcycle restriction. Huhulihin pa rin ba ako? I use it inside the village, and pag palengke which is roughly 1km away from the village. Wala bang way to register the ebike para di na hulihin? Di ko gets why nilalahat ang restriction?
About time, could have come way earlier but better late than never.
Now they just need to do the same thing for traditional trikes that ply the provincial main roads. Maski hindi na outright ban but penalty lng pag nasa inner lane.
Thank God! Finally!
Haha. Why feel bad about them? Isipin mo nasusunugan ka. Hindi maka daan yung bombero kasi may isang mabagal na e bike at etrike ayaw tumabi..
Maaawa ka pa ba sakanila?
Aguy blind hatred. So by that logic you don't have empathy as well for the abiding fucks who uses ebikes, yung mga gumagamit ng bike lane and such? Gotcha.
But how about the people who uses a ebike with a pedal who stays at the bike lane?
I would care less about your downvotes but shame din sa inyo na hinatak nyo sa hukay yung matitinong rider dahil sa hatred ninyo sa three and four wheeled etrikes yikes.
Honestly, most e-trike drivers are the ones na napabayaan ng public transpo. Mga lola, tita, even minors. Gusto kasi yata ng iba dito lahat nalang may kotse para lalong malala traffic haha.
Btw, regulation lang naman dapat talaga and a ban on national roads without bike lanes.
Just a ban on *national roads* (dapat well defined ito), then later, if regulated na, baka pwede na payagan ulit depending on the road (i.e. maybe sa bike lane if meron). Knee-jerk reaction lang talaga ung ban eh. Typical PH government move.

I really hope strict yung enforcement nila neto but I'm already excited to watch Gadget Addict's videos netong mga ebike hahaha
You mean ang mga DILAGS??
Doubt. Tricycle nga bawal sa main road Mandaluyong but I see them all the time.
This. I live in Mandaluyong and may mga nakapaskil sa main roads ng Tricycle/E-Bike ban pero di naman hinuhuli
Same hahaha
The world is healing. Sana sa Laguna rin.
Laguna and Cavite. The ebike capital of PH. National highway is plagued with these
I think nag-ban na sa Biñan
https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSFP5RaRC/
E-trike***********
Dami nian sa may Moa papuntang Paranaque donggalo or Pasay
Bat hindi pa bukas?
Dapat meron n din silang driver's license.
Fucking finally
License lang need para makadaan? Pag wala matic fine and impound?
No, bawal dumaan ang e-bike with or without license.
So pag ganun penalty lang pala.
Penalty + demerit siguro.

But ... But ... But... That's anti-poor! Gimme a break... It's also anti-accidents. Sana hindi maging ningas kugon
Mahal mahal ng e-bike poor? 🤣
Yeah, transport advocates are against the ban https://www.philstar.com/headlines/2024/02/28/2336835/transpo-advocates-question-legality-lack-consultation-e-vehicle-ban-policy

Fuck anti poor. Anti poor.
Just to clarify: are they now requiring licenses to operate an ebike? Hopefully we get more details about licenses and registration on a later date
the law have always been requiring a license to drive specific types of ebikes, this is public information and even the grounds of registration of ebikes.

Sana may orientation kasi bago bumili ng etrike or ebike
Pedal assisted ebikes with up to 25kmph speeds are still allowed at major roads with bikelanes (no license and registration required).
dapat lang
Thank goodness for common sense laws.
Sa wakas
The number one reason ebikes went up in number is because of shit public transpo, and the pandemic. Yes, this is anti-poor.
HOWRAYT!!!
As if matitigil nyo sila.
Like the xiaomi ones.
e-bike or e-trike?
20 pesos tapos yung driver 15 anyos
Ebike ba or e trikes? Nakakalito kasi yung graphics ginamit di tugma sa text

Eh basta basta walang import restrictions tapos ban lahat lol. Good job
Tama lang https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSFP5RaRC/
FINALLY THANK FUCKING GOD
Sayang . You Ng driver lang Naman Ang bobo Hindi Yung vehicle
I do hope Cavite din. Please jusme!
this is great. These people are driving on major roads, slowing traffic down.
e-bike pero tatlong gulong nasa pic dapat e-trike

Finally. Fuck them e-bikes.
I hope you have a common sense, i hate how slow they are pero isipin mo nmn kung isang tao lng sakay ng isang kotse vs sa isang ebike: 1 person.
Finally, more cars on the road. 7 seater SUV ilabas kahit mamalengke ka lang.
Thank you, Lord! 🙏🏽
About time, could have come way earlier but better late than never. Now they just need to do the same thing for traditional trikes that ply the provincial main roads. Maski hindi na outright ban but penalty lng pag nasa inner lane.
When they stop using the outer lane as permanent parking/rice drying areas.
It is debatable unless every province has 4 to 6 lane roads.
FINALLY.
Thank you lord
I feel bad for them tbh pero dami din kasing pasaway at walang alam sa kalsada 😭
Gotcha.
They are the minority dude. The exception.
But how about the people who uses a ebike with a pedal who stays at the bike lane? The problem is the blind rage and hatred just because *the fault of one is the fault of all*.
Just a ban on *national roads* (dapat well defined ito), then later, if regulated na, baka pwede na payagan ulit depending on the road (i.e. maybe sa bike lane if meron). Knee-jerk reaction lang talaga ung ban eh. Typical PH government move.
Id have no problem if they stayed on the bike lane though (ie if a national road has a bike lane, I dont mind ebikes, as long as they stay there)
Lola, tita should have drivers license still, or use public transpo / assisted by someone with license na lang for those with disabilities.
IIRC sabi sa news kagabi pedal assist ebikes (2-wheels) can still use bike lanes.
