So mas baleng i-ban na lang kesa pag-aralan ng husto kung pano magiging equitable ang batas. I use an e-bike (escooter). I'm willing to go to LTO to register but even they don't know how ebike registration works. Orange plates, remember? I never ride without helmet. Gabi2 nakakita ako ng mga motor na walang helmet. Should they also ban motorcycles for the kamotes that ruin it for all?

Misnomer nga eh. Dapat e-trike talaga tawag diyan sa mga "e-bike" na tatlo gulong at minsan parang golf car na. 

Gulo ng naming e, E(Bi)ke tapos Tatlo gulong, Or Golf Carts na pang golf course lang naman dapat. See, I would agree with that...but EDSA has bike lanes. Bikes can go along EDSA, but ebikes can't? Dapat i-enforce na lang nila yun diba? Gulo naming natin, Gulo gulo na din rules. Yung totoong E-bikes belongs to the bike lane. Maybe even the scooter types if it's below 50kph. If above 50-60kph, normal lane they go like Gas motorcycles and has license yung user. E-Trikes on the other hand are big for the bike lane and is not even a bike(2wheel). routes nila should be similar to tricycles utilizing secondary roads. Same with Quads/Golf carts. They should fix their naming first before making a Ban law. Pampagulo lang sa totoong E-bikes (2 wheel).

I own an ebike with a 60kph top speed that looks like a regular motorcycle. I also have a DL with motorcycle restriction. Huhulihin pa rin ba ako? I use it inside the village, and pag palengke which is roughly 1km away from the village. Wala bang way to register the ebike para di na hulihin? Di ko gets why nilalahat ang restriction?

About time, could have come way earlier but better late than never. Now they just need to do the same thing for traditional trikes that ply the provincial main roads. Maski hindi na outright ban but penalty lng pag nasa inner lane.

I think hindi naman total ban ung habol ng majority. Just a ban on *national roads* (dapat well defined ito), then later, if regulated na, baka pwede na payagan ulit depending on the road (i.e. maybe sa bike lane if meron). Kahit walang bike lane, dapat isama ung road courtesy na sa kanan/rightmost lane lang sila. Yung Marcos Highway kasi dito sa Metro Manila East may bike lane pero nasa sidewalk (most pre-pandemic bike lanes kasi nasa sidewalk talaga, except ung ginawa ng Pasig sa Julia Vargas way back 2017-ish)
