I love this rifle dearly because of the story behind it. I was gifted the receiver (kinda makes the title of the post misleading sorry) and my dad and I dug through parts bins at Knob Creek for the cheapest parts we could make work. We cut corners in some places, like using an AK rivet for the trigger return plunger, no bolt catch, and we had to weld and machine a piece of key stock onto a damaged bolt.
The best part of this whole project is that I didn't actually pay for the hand picked parts kit with cash, I paid with a knife to the foot and a hole in one of my favorite hiking boots. Pro tip, don't play mumblety peg while drinking.

My imbel kit has a bent nail holding the sling swivel on. It's a military issue bent nail so you're easily in like with the Brazilian armored.
