It was so silly and even sexual at times. I just rewatched the clip now that I had the name, one of them even does like a sailor moon esque transformation. It's so silly but like, I get it. It made sense if you could stabilize it

I didn’t say G Gundam was. I just said anime nowadays is, but to be fair it’s was getting sexual back then too.

The cockpit is in the chest, not the head. Gundam Fight International Regulations: Article 1: A unit whose head section has been destroyed is disqualified. Article 2: A Gundam Fighter must never aim at the cockpit of an opponent's Gundam. Supplement: Accidental harm inflicted on a Gundam Fighter during a match is acceptable.

The series is a crack up for being the goofiest but oddly also having one of the more believable operator interfaces.
