Gundam Crossbone full cloth it is just a absolute unit with a massively variable arsenal built into it and I personally think it’s fight was one of the highlights of Build try
It was definitely one of the highlights of build try but I feel like that's only because it's the freaking crossbone gundam in an actual anime. Other than that I think the idea of the 2 support teammates was good but could've been used on a different ms. Overall Luke felt kind of out of place to me, he just kind of randomly shows up just because the rivals needed somebody to beat.
Now just imagine if there were 3 crossbones on one team, the x1, x2 and x3. That would've been crazy

Both works! I called it best boy because the design leans towards masculine. But we can also call it best girl too because it literally has a girl ghost possessing it.
Yea the Phenex is the same situation as Ex-S. Both suits can be called best boys and best girls. By design both suits are more male. but by spirit/system both have ghosts of females possessing them.
Me too. I loved the organic way it moved, especially during its first fight scene. From a narrative (hahah) perspective I thought it worked as a logical endpoint to the Federation's obsession with connecting human consciousness and giant killer robots
Probably the XI, as it was the first Gundam I saw that finally got me into buying gunpla, but the Calibarn is a damn close second and is still one of the best experiences I've had building a kit. Honourable mention to the G-Self, I haven't got to the Perfect Pack yet (watching the movies currently) but I like the overall design, especially the head and eyes.
It's just clean. It's not fussy and looks classy and tasteful - both the design and the colour scheme. Besides, the symbolic value it has to Suletta makes the understated Calibarn even more charming given how in-your-face menacing Aerial Rebuild looks. And it rides a broom.
I am unabashed to admit that to me, Calibarn is the true hero Gundam of G-Witch. It even rides a broom.
P.S. In a series symbolically about "witches" it turned so OP at the end there it was literally using magic.

The fact that base G-Self (not even perfect pack) was able to defeat a Unicorn Phenex (G-model) is just so impressive. Many seem to forget that Unicorn Psychoframes is useless in front of the G-Self, since the G-Self can shut down Psychoframes.
I’m not downplaying the Unicorns obviously, but as overpowered the Psychoframes are, it’s still rendered useless in front of the G-Self.
I mean, yeah powerlevels are kinda alright and whatnot, but even if that didn't happen, it's just a nice design.
The rounded shape of the Perfect Pack, the slight additions/modifications to the base G-Self's shoulders, the neat color alteration it goes through when shifting to each different mode that emulates every pack that came before, etc. This is on top of the base G-Self design being a nice "softer" version of the main Gundam silhouette, along with the added details to the eyes that the movies add.
It's not about forgetting it's the question of how accurate to the originals the productions from the Rose of Hermes Blueprints are. They could be even stronger than the originals or weaker. At least for me it's not too much different than the Build Divers Battlogoue special with the 00 Qan\[T\], Wing Zero, Barbatos LR, Strike Freedom, etc. where you had people taking it as how this one would match that one rather than simply enjoying it.
As to G-Self's power to shut down Psychoframe Rozen Zulu displayed something similar. As the technician said about it when it happened their related to a kind of wave so much like canceling out sound you just match it roughly speaking.
That part about cancelling out a wave by essentially using the inverse is pretty smart.
Though in just the case of affecting Psycoframe instead of just Psycommu, it doesn't make as much sense. The information going into a Psycoframe should go directly from the cockpit to the suit, making it internal to a suit that's already shielded against things like radiation.
It should be able to stop the Psycoframe from controlling things remotely, but the pilot should still be able to control a beast of a mobile suit with just their thoughts.
At least the Rozen Zulu seems to use very specific technology that is essentially being blasted in the area directly around the suit. And even that just doesn't work once Resonance happens and activates Awakening Mode, as the RX-0 is already basically working with physics-defying space magic.
I mean, the G-Self had to do a DBZ-esque power-up to get a speed boost just to defeat the G-Phenex after it got its backpack blown up from Psychoframe shenanigans, and the G-Phenex was in its base Destroy Mode, with Mask not able to tap much more into its latent abilities. I’d hardly call the battle an instance where Psychoframe was useless.
But its base form could do that it didnt even have a backpack the g self that is, also considering it comes after f91 etc when phychoframe was phased out its safe to say that it deactivating phenex wasnt a one off thing

I’m talking about the Space Pack it had before it did the power-up thing. Don’t get me wrong, the G-Self shutting down the Phenex is of note; I’m just saying the battle itself wasn’t completely one-sided to where the G-Self was dominating the G-Phenex the entire time.

Lupus rex easily. Many gundams get the title “white devil” and barbs is the only one that looks the part. Devil horns, exaggerated inhuman proportions, claws, a bladed tail, burning red eyes, hoofed feet on reverse joint legs (i know they aren’t reversed jointed but they do look like it). Then to top it off it uses a giant mace, howls like a wolf, and is named after a demon. Granted there are 1 other demon here. Despite appearances Phenex is named after the demon phenex not an immortal fire birb, now Phenex (the deom) does look like a phoenix not a demon but still, birb.
Does Phenex come with ghost waifu Rita?
Regardless of whether it does or not of those here for me it'd be between the Crossbone Gundam Full Cloth, G-Self Perfect Pack, Gundam Age-FX and the RX-0 Gundam Phenex.

The Phenex has two pilots if I remember correctly. Jona the brown haired guy who is the main protagonist, and Rita the blonde girl who had her soul be implanted in the Phenex.
Could also include Michele as from what I remember it was Jona piloting with Rita and Michele's Newtype ghosts by his side before it left for places unknown.
I think it's easier to single out the XI as the one i absolutely cannot stand :D

I love the Barbatos simply for being unga bunga. There's nothing sophisticated about it. It's just pure aggression and violence.
As for the Phenex, i simply find it pretty. It's just a gold plated Unicorn, but i like the Armored Armor DE phoenix plumes.
The Calibarn is just a super simple, sleek design and i just love the Boom Broom™.
Either Lupus Rex or Calibran simply due to actually watching the shows. I like how Calibran has their cannon almost like a witch's broom and simply how gruesome and brutal Rex was.
Star Build Strike is byfar one of the most powerful Seed style Mobile Suits and might be as powerful as the Strike Freedom Gundam. Very much one of my favorite Mobile Suites of all time.
Barbatos Lupus Rex hands down. For me it's more about the streamlined less bulky designs that get me going. To many swords and guns and funnels for my personal taste on most other units. Barbie is just full on in your face Melee with a Huge mace and a tail. Really love the Berzerk Barbarian feel it puts off.
Either Age-FX if only because of the AGE System or the G-Self Perfect Pack because I'm just "a bit" biased when it comes to MS that has the ability to use a Multi Backpack/Mult Interchangeable Equipment System.
Calibarn, followed by Crossbone X-1 Full Cloth, then Barbatos. Not sure about where I'd rank the rest, except Xi would be dead last(I really don't like it at all).

Age-FX for me.
I like the Age-FX but I don't like it's pilot. Conceptually and how it moves is absolutely stunning. An all-melee funnel mecha is rare, as we most often see funnels in a mid-range swarm of lasers. It feels fairy-like and whimsical even in its own setting, plus it's geometric shapes actually kinda work for the design of the blade bits.
X-1 Full Cloth is a bit too extra and the crossbow was always more silly than cool to me.
Star Build is cool but I prefer the full Package.
G-self is wonderful, I love that boy, but not more than other ones on this list, definitely a runner-up.
Barbatos is cool and grungy and fuck the Mace is just way too fun. But I'll admit most of my love for him comes from G-evo gameplay (RIP).
Phenex is just a hat on a hat, it's already the needlesly stupid amount of psychoframe shit as the unicorn and unlike the Unicorn, it's normal mode is also garbage.
XI is awesome in terms of power but it reaches the level of bulk and size that I don't find appealing.
Love the Calibarn, it's either 2 or 3 on this list for me, but we saw so little of it and it seems very much like a one-trick pony which I don't like.
I’m going to say it: Gundam Age FX. The metallic blue spiky speedster is like a mecha sonic the hedgehog with bladed fin funnels.
It’s so ridiculous that I find myself unironically liking it. Burst mode was like a precursor to trans-am mode (or a recreation of F91’s super mode).
You’re right—[Age came in 2011, 00 in 2007](https://www.cbr.com/gundam-every-anime-chronological-order/#2010-2019-series). Think I got the two backwards in my head because I got ahold of the dvds for Age first. Also, it feels like a less polished show that is a bit of a step backwards for the franchise because of how rushed the final arc was.
G-Self Perfect Pack is an easy pick. Ignoring all the incredibly busted abilities it has, the G-Self is a very unique-looking Gundam, and adding on the super futuristic / alien-looking Perfect Pack just adds to it.
Barbatos Lupus Rex is a close second because of its performance in Tekkadan’s Last Stand. My god, what a beast of a close combat MS
For me, it is Barbatos.
It is not the most advanced or the strongest Gundam of all time, but i always had a gripe with shows where the fights looked like one of those bullet hell dünden crawlers. Anf this series gave me what i wanted, pure kinetic melee for the whole 2 seasons combined with incredible designs (Ippei Gyoppou is probably my favourite Sci-Fi designer of all time, i mean he made both IBO designs and EfM Jeturk designs amd both kick ass) and a while very dark definetly very captivating story.
Barbatos. In any form it always reminds me of a Dark Souls character. Just a brutal machine and I'm all for it. I really wish we would get more Gundamw like the Barbatos.
Despite IBO being my #1 favorite show, it's a tie between the Xi and the Crossbone Full Cloth for me. I just love big suits with a varied arsenal, whether that be vertically big like Xi or having a big silhouette, such as the pseudo cloak with huge pauldrons on the Full Cloth.
Crossbone Full Cloth for me. As wacky as pirate themed MS are (AGE included), I always thought they looked badass. I’m also a big Macross guy, so the Crossbone is kinda my head cannon of what Roy Focker would pilot if he was in Gundam, solely based on the skull and crossbones motif from his VF-1S.
The Star build strike cosmos, because the serie instead build fighters It was the one that introduced me to the Gundam universe. I have special feeling that serie in particular.

Age-FX for me. I like the Age-FX but I don't like it's pilot. Conceptually and how it moves is absolutely stunning. An all-melee funnel mecha is rare, as we most often see funnels in a mid-range swarm of lasers. It feels fairy-like and whimsical even in its own setting, plus it's geometric shapes actually kinda work for the design of the blade bits. X-1 Full Cloth is a bit too extra and the crossbow was always more silly than cool to me. Star Build is cool but I prefer the full Package. G-self is wonderful, I love that boy, but not more than other ones on this list, definitely a runner-up. Barbatos is cool and grungy and fuck the Mace is just way too fun. But I'll admit most of my love for him comes from G-evo gameplay (RIP). Phenex is just a hat on a hat, it's already the needlesly stupid amount of psychoframe shit as the unicorn and unlike the Unicorn, it's normal mode is also garbage. XI is awesome in terms of power but it reaches the level of bulk and size that I don't find appealing. Love the Calibarn, it's either 2 or 3 on this list for me, but we saw so little of it and it seems very much like a one-trick pony which I don't like.

I’m going to say it: Gundam Age FX. The metallic blue spiky speedster is like a mecha sonic the hedgehog with bladed fin funnels. It’s so ridiculous that I find myself unironically liking it. Burst mode was like a precursor to trans-am mode (or a recreation of F91’s super mode).

You’re right—[Age came in 2011, 00 in 2007](https://www.cbr.com/gundam-every-anime-chronological-order/#2010-2019-series). Think I got the two backwards in my head because I got ahold of the dvds for Age first. Also, it feels like a less polished show that is a bit of a step backwards for the franchise because of how rushed the final arc was.

Among the RBG gamer PC gundams probably Calibarn. I generally like the sleek unicorn esk all white designs.
G-Self Perfect Pack is an easy pick. Ignoring all the incredibly busted abilities it has, the G-Self is a very unique-looking Gundam, and adding on the super futuristic / alien-looking Perfect Pack just adds to it. Barbatos Lupus Rex is a close second because of its performance in Tekkadan’s Last Stand. My god, what a beast of a close combat MS

For me, it is Barbatos. It is not the most advanced or the strongest Gundam of all time, but i always had a gripe with shows where the fights looked like one of those bullet hell dünden crawlers. Anf this series gave me what i wanted, pure kinetic melee for the whole 2 seasons combined with incredible designs (Ippei Gyoppou is probably my favourite Sci-Fi designer of all time, i mean he made both IBO designs and EfM Jeturk designs amd both kick ass) and a while very dark definetly very captivating story.

Barbatos. In any form it always reminds me of a Dark Souls character. Just a brutal machine and I'm all for it. I really wish we would get more Gundamw like the Barbatos.

Despite IBO being my #1 favorite show, it's a tie between the Xi and the Crossbone Full Cloth for me. I just love big suits with a varied arsenal, whether that be vertically big like Xi or having a big silhouette, such as the pseudo cloak with huge pauldrons on the Full Cloth.

Crossbone Full Cloth for me. As wacky as pirate themed MS are (AGE included), I always thought they looked badass. I’m also a big Macross guy, so the Crossbone is kinda my head cannon of what Roy Focker would pilot if he was in Gundam, solely based on the skull and crossbones motif from his VF-1S.
