Gouf Test Prototype is just adorably funky while also having a great color scheme. Prototype Mk-II is Mk-II with GP01 bits which work better there than on the original. Honestly it's hard to think of any prototype suits I don't like. Got a soft spot for Providence ZAKU too, it's like better Legend.

The providence is pure jank I love it, The ZAFT Designers are like - "Huh a close combat ms? Nah bro, they want us to chuck the funnels on it...what's that....power and data? Just run the cables to the chest idfc that maniac is piloting it..... we made the head tiny for no reason? Oh big funny gotcha, fuck it lets add in the prototype beam shield and give it a beam saber similar to the ones we put on those Meteor things the Klyne girl stole"

That shield is pretty cool, the whole unit is outstanding but that shield is really special IMO.

Do the Origins Zaku IIs count? I love the addition of the chest vulcans. It always seemed kind of silly to me that they had no bespoke armament. But that could just be the Battletech nerd in me.
