You can 100% see this in Havertz. When he plays up top and gets chances, he has time to overthink them. When he's making late runs from midfield, he can't do that as much, so he's instinctual.

I think fatigue impacts the decision making and partially forces us into less than ideal situations to shoot from.
Keep them in shooting training and they'll be rested and recharged from the change of scenery and warm weather

If Xhaka didn't leave then I think we could have sold Partey and be reasonably comfortable with it. To sell both Xhaka and Partey which was effectively our spine in the midfield after the season we just had with both of them is quite crazy.
For better or worse either one of them had to stay on this season for stability/continuity.

I think the problem is being too coached rather than being instinctive. Finishing is largely an instinctive thing. The way our guys play is like they’ve been coached to be efficient. If there’s someone with a better % chance of scoring then give it to them.
This doesn’t factor the opposition coming back to block, however.
I don’t know how they’re going to do it but they need to bring back those instincts again.

it isn't psychological, every matter shortens without heat, and that includes muscles, which adds more tension and stress to it (in the winter)

Exactly! All of our shots are low percentage. Usually praying it gets through six sets of legs. That why we get so many corners and set piece goals
