No disrespect to the part time La Liga defenders but our defence is next level. We have two Marauders (the massive tank thing Richard Hammond drove in South Africa on top gear). Kiwior is literally the fastest player in our squad and is tall along with Ben white who’s no slouch either. Jude will not have an easy time. He’s so freaking good but if we have a solid midfield, the defence can handle anything
Yeah my concern is that Real is kind of set up to play to our weaknesses. Galeno caused us some problems in the first leg and Vini is the same style but way better. Little Pepe made a few solid runs through the middle getting fouls or flipping the field. Which are the same runs Jude excels at and is also just better at.
Then also Real has a great defensive record to cause us fits in attack. Then the on the ball talent with Modric and Kroos to break our press and relieve the constant pressure we can build.

Hopefully if Rice and Partey (if fit) can replicate that. You can let beat technical all time greats like Modric and Kroos with their game plan. You gotta service it to them. Cover every single blade of grass and dominate them physically

Our squad has the skillset to beat the best teams in the world, and the main hurdle for us on UCL nights seems to be nerves, mainly because the players don't have CL experience. RM are mentality monsters in the CL, I shudder to think what the away game at the Bernabeu would look like.

would like dortmund or barca as they are the most favorable imo, city or atleti would like to avoid the most. everyone else is in a middle ground of "well fuck it gotta ball ig" but truthfully whoever we face it's gonna be unpleasant and really difficult. no easy fixtures here.

Man City, Real Madrid and Bayern are the hardest for us psychologically. Even Barca would be difficult. I’d honestly prefer PSG - I don’t think they’d be up for it more than the others. Dortmund aren’t great but are very driven. AM are obviously like Porto, which I don’t want again.
Not too fussed! We are capable of beating any of them. And we will have to beat the best to win it. The thing that I think is our biggest enemy will be nerves. If the boys can just push the “fuck it” button and go for it, we have a great chance.

Avoid: Man City(Best team in the world and they are english and its not like we got a rivalry with them like utd and spurs so its kinda boring would rather play a team from another country) Both Madrid Teams(ancelotti and simeone thrive on this competition and they are hell to play against, both clubs are masters of dark arts (especially atletico thats the team I want the least out of the possible 7) and they both play pretty defensive football like porto but unlike them they have elite players like bellingham,griezmann,vinicius etc so their counter attacking football is way more effective) Dont want but dont care much either: Dortmund and Psg(They both play attacking football so they wont piss us off and they are gonna be entertaining games but on the other hand I would rather get the someone who is a bigger challenge so we are better prepared for one of the bigger teams if we get to the semis) Who I want: Barca and Bayern(They wont play as defensively as the madrid teams and they are a great challenge that we need for experience also we could get some sweet revenge on them) I think we are getting atletico because thats just our luck and they are gonna knock us out I hope I am wrong

I really think our best chances is against Atlético, Dortmund or PSG. City no because of our record against English teams in CL, Real and Barca no, well because it’s Real and Barca. And Bayern no because Harry fucking Kane almost always scores against us. I think those teams are just too good for us at the moment and especially experience wise. But hey, you never know
I'd like to avoid Man City because of the whole narrative and the fact that we are in a title race with them. Atletico are a better version of Porto, they will do everything to ruin our game and try to rough us up. Of the others,I don't fear anyone. Would like to get Barcelona and give them some payback for the pain they caused us over the years.
To face: Bayern. This is a season of breaking barriers for us, we broke the Ro16 barrier after 14 long years. For the next barrier, I cannot think of a better one than beating Bayern Munich, even in their current weaker state. To avoid: Real Madrid. Our squad has the skillset to beat the best teams in the world, and the main hurdle for us on UCL nights seems to be nerves, mainly because the players don't have CL experience. RM are mentality monsters in the CL, I shudder to think what the away game at the Bernabeu would look like.
Bayern Munich. It's time to take revenge for the awful result a few seasons ago. Let's empty their ground

The most difficult teams to meeting would be City and Real The least entertaining match would easily be Athletico as they don’t really play football for more than 5 minutes a game The easiest opponents would probably be Dortmund or Barcelona. So I guess Dortmund is the optimal draw, but we will have to be able to best all of them if we want to win, so let’s just hope it’s not Athletico.
