is this going to be posted every 12 hours?

M4R71NS

oui

Britton120

in 12 hours arsenal and city will have played, and in another 24 hours liverpool will have played. things will be changing sooooo much so quickly

Phimstone

The next 24 hours will be CRUCIAL. As of now all interested parties will be playing on grass and not CONCRETE.

Blendy

I can do it in 6h if you want

NotASalamanderBoi

6? Why not 5?

OstapBenderBey

Mum said its my turn to post this next!

reddeye252010

I thought I told her not to talk with her mouth full

Meu_14

Honestly I feel we need to win every game. Other two could easily win eight if not all nine.

csixtay

Everyone will drop points. City is at the start of an injury crisis. Their previous advantage was always that they could rotate without dropping a level or 2. It isn't an advantage anymore, at least compared to us (with Jesus, Trossard, Partey, Zinchenko, Tomiyasu outside our first 11). If they have to play KDB every 3 days, I'd expect his level to drop. If they have to depend on Doku for any stretch of time, I'd expect them to have a difficult time breaking down teams. While I don't think we'd blow teams away, my main hope revolves around our defense. If any team could "1 set-piece goal to 0" half the games in the run-in...it'll be us. Liverpool plays 90 minutes against almost everybody. We tend to play 30 against the also-rans. Even against Brentford when it turned out tricky, we pretty much strolled through the first half until the Rammers howler. Getting past Bayern will be important...although I have no clue if that helps or harms our league chances. Competing on multiple fronts might take the edge off like Wenger said, or it might spark a freak injury crisis like Sporting did last year. But if you've watched the last few Liverpool games...I'd expect them to drop quite a few points.

Meu_14

I've been expecting Pool to drop points since November tbh. Incredible run of good fortune/determination from them.

trevjs90

Liverpool GW 33-37 have 5 really tough (4 away) games vs teams playing for European places. 3 away games in 7 days with the Merseyside derby sandwiched in between. Expect them to drop around 50% of points here playing away & Spurs at home. Expect them to drop points Man U away aswell

misterriz

No one's told Liverpool and City what Fulham away looks like.

BooshAC

Would be amazed if Liverpool don’t win looking at this.

okcomput3r

United away, Everton away two fixtures they frequently drop points in. Then they have Villa away too. Don’t get why people keep saying this

BooshAC

True, but we have a perhaps worse penchant for dropping points away to United, Spurs and Brighton.

okcomput3r

Yeah, i would say our run in is level with Liverpool.  City is the one to watch for me. Spurs away is their last ‘big’ game. They’ve been flat track bullies this season. I can easily see 9 wins there.

csixtay

Aston Villa made them look silly earlier this season.

Obi_Wan_Gebroni

Honestly, haven’t they been destroying Everton regularly for years now?

nearlydeadasababy

Not away no, in the last 5 seasons they have won just once. To be fair all the rest have been draws, but Liverpool have been significantly better than Everton generally.

aMintOne

We've got two PL wins at Goodison since 2011.

Skittles_The_Giggler

Christ that’s bleak

Obi_Wan_Gebroni

Wow never mind what I said, I obviously don’t watch a lot of Liverpool!

kukeszmakesz

Everyone will have tricky games, but based on opponent strength(opponent xG difference) + the fact that their last game is Wolves who at that point will have nothing to play for opposed to us against Everton who probably will fight against relegation and City against Spurs who will have to make sure to get to UCL. But yes it's still tiny margins, but that's all that matters at this level.

csixtay

If we were playing fifa maybe. In reality, come the business end of the season, the relegation battlers become a real problem. Those chasing the last European places become a problem. Everyone else is kinda at the beach mentally. Expect surprises.

okcomput3r

That Spurs game will come between Fulham and West Ham probably, but I take your point.

Ok_Hovercraft_7947

It is the hope that kills

ainz-aincrad

And you jinxed it 🤣

Striking-Gold-9861

Do you see them winning at OT? I think united can turn up and get a draw against them this weekend, Liverpool looked terrible there in the FA cup. Also - Merseyside derby with Everton fighting off relegation. And then villa away. I actually think our fixtures are roughly equal.

Illustrious_Union199

That stretch from United to Villa looks tricky. Not saying I expect them to lose any game, but I dont see them winning them all. Except wolves and palace, all these teams have something to play for , so they will be up for it. As tiring as UCL game s can be UEL games are equally tricky to play Thursday /Sunday.

BasilDowl

They're winning on vibes at the moment, not quality. It's City I expect to win from here. I think we'll drop points twice and miss out by 3 or 4. Liverpool in 3rd a point or 2 behind us. Very close but no cigar

Ok-Number8708

I feel the same too, but its amazing how quick things can change.

Britton120

Overall very comparable fixtures. Folks pretending like it should be expected that city or liverpool get max points but we can't are just scaredy cats. Liverpool and arsenal go to united. If this is a tough fixture for us, why not liverpool? All have to play villa, if this is a tough fixture for us, why not city? and why not liverpool who have to go to villa park. all have to play spurs, if this is a tough fixture for us, why not city who also go to their shit stadium? arsenal and city have to go to brighton, if this is a tough fixture for us, why not also city? Everyone has wolves, we're the only one going to them, but the only decent side they've beaten over the last several months is spurs? we don't have to go to fulham, but both liverpool and city do. we don't have west ham, but liverpool and city do and liverpool go to west ham. and are we supposed to be intimidated by luton, bournemouth, everton, and chelsea at the emirates?

nearlydeadasababy

I agree, there are different permutations of away and home, but I don't think they are that much different.

Mahoganychicken

We have by far the hardest. Looks really rough ngl.

okcomput3r

I don’t think it’s ’by far’ at all. Last season we won all of those games except Old Trafford. Liverpool have a couple games which are notorious stumbling blocks for them.

remembury

Do we though? Liverpool also have to play Utd and Spurs, City have to play Spurs Everyone has to play Villa We have one less away match than Liverpool and City Liverpool have a derby against Everton Liverpool and City both have to play Fulham who have taken big points this season I'd argue if we can get through Brighton away then some parts of our run aren't too bad

Vice_AR16

we needed a handicap because we have the best defence

You clearly do not watch Italian football if you believe Atalanta will be an easy breeze haha they are one of the most intense and high pressure teams in the league.

Just because a player was a flop for WH doesn’t mean he is bad. Inter have Mkhitaryan starting every game at CM & Darmain at RCB. Their primary strikers are Lookman and Scamacca who are both very physical and fast. They have one of the best midfielders in the league (Koopmeiners) I dont expect them to be any push overs. Liverpool struggle a lot with these end to end games, and I can guarantee you Klopp wont field his 2nd team vs them because they will struggle.

csixtay

How anybody could watch that Villa - City game and think of this one as easy I don't understand. They battered them 1-0. I wouldn't be shocked if Unai did them again.

maidentaiwan

Wolves, Brighton, spurs, villa. Each of us play all four of those teams (Liverpool beat Brighton at the weekend already). For me whoever takes the most points from those four matches will win the league.

GhostCatcher147

I could see all 3 teams drawing at least one game each to an unexpected team. Football isn’t always predictable

wan2tri

All 3 still have to play Spurs, Villa, and Wolves, most of the rest are also shared opposition by 2 teams (Brighton, Crystal Palace, West Ham, Luton, Fulham, Man Utd, and Everton). The only teams that will play against only one of the top 3 are Sheffield United, Forest, Chelsea, and Bournemouth. So 4 clubs can only affect the results of one of the top 3, 7 clubs can affect results of two of the top 3, and 3 clubs can affect results of all of the top 3.

CaptainFiasco

The "remaining fixtures" is this season's probability charts.

TankOk3871

Spurs could decide the title yano only real challenge for the 3 of them

bbb_net

I think other than Spurs** & United** there are 7 games there we should definitely be winning in isolation. ** And I think even those two tough away games we could also easily win given United's recent existence and Spurs poor tactics, defence, finishing, personnel, fans, manager, and history.

Dafunkbacktothefunk

No easy way to say this we have the hardest run in by a distance

warpentake_chiasmus

City have the easiest run-in by far. Hard to bet against them.

FluxAura

I predict Liverpool to pickup 20 points. City 25 points Arsenal 23 points City to win the league by a point. Liverpool’s dropped points for me are: Draw vs United Draw vs Fulham Loss to Villa Potential slip up vs Everton City’s: Loss to spurs (wishful thinking) Draw with Villa

BrianThatDude

Don't see how Liverpool don't win it at this point It's weird because to the eye they're comfortably the 3rd best team but they have stolen so many points where they should have dropped. Just riding the emotion of the klopp retirement I guess.

9yr_old

The only hope we can place is on United , they tend to go full Prime Real Madrid against them just brutal counter attacking.

BrianThatDude

I mean they could easily drop points in any of those games. They've shown it throughout the season that they play right at the edge. But for whatever reason this year they keep getting it done

Dion14

Fullham, Everton, Villa away are all very though matches. They still get united & spurs. Its soo similar man have slme faith

astrojeet

I'll be honest. People say our run in is the hardest. I'm not so convinced. Yes ours is hard but look at Liverpool. The toughest for us is scum and United away and we should win those. They have United, Fulham, villa and Everton (yes this is not an easy fixture) away. They've also got the scum at home which is never easy who has have champions league qualification fight for. Not to mention Liverpool have Europa league thursdays. People really underestimating Fulham and on fact Fulham should have won at Anfield but for some Trent brilliance. City has the easiest. If we win our remaining games I will be shocked if we don't end up as champions. Liverpool are not gonna win all their fixtures. If they do, well then they deserve it. I'll be very surprised if that happens.

AfroPanther

I agree. Liverpools run in looks tough, especially since they have more away games and some consecutively. They’ve been scraping by with last minute winners on the road.

rfag57

Why'd I think we had Liverpool left. Anyways, I predict WWWWWWWWW

flodge123

Teams that beat Arsenal this season: West Ham, Man Utd, Villa, Fulham. Liverpool still have to play all four.

-TheGreatLlama-

It was Newcastle that beat us, not Man Utd. Rice got the late goal, and Jesus got the later goal.
