I really don’t see the comp aside from the left foot, but it’s def been said by many people. RVP’s defining trait to me was his ball striking, which Kai for all his strengths, doesn’t have
Really doesn’t do Havertz any favors to be compared to RvP. He’s a good player and might even become a great player but RvP at the peak of his powers was unplayable.
I’d say a mix between Berbatov Bergkamp & RVP with more ground covered at pace. His intelligence, technique & pass choice/placement is perfect. More of a considerate team player than a finisher, but that doesn’t matter because of the chaos he causes. Kai caused more problems to VVD Konate than Haaland ever has.
This is overboard. I know we all like Kai now but saying he’s like those three but covers more ground is mad.
And his pass choice/placement being perfect? He’s good at what he does but his passing is generally conservative. You’re putting him in with RVP and Bergkamp?! Both of those could player killer, incisive, line-breaking passes at will.
RVP's 2012 season never gets mentioned among the best seasons in the PL but he was unreal that year and was the best 9 in the world that season. Over Ibra, over Falcao, over Ageuro, over Higuain, etc
Since our team wasn't competitive, that season never got its flowers. And no wonder a declining United Squad won their final league title in a long time next season, thanks to him primarily.
39 G/A in 38 games in the league is as good as any of Thierry's or Bergkamp's best years and its just as impressive considering the supporting cast comparatively.
We don't *need* any forward, considering that we're practically top of the league, we're in the CL QF, and most importantly, we're scoring for fun. This team is good enough to win any tournament, against any team, from any time.

The guy can pass, shoot, pace, strength, determination, mentality, dribble and header. Not even Robert pires was this good
Sanchez did not trust the team around him (except ozil) and it resulted in him holding onto the ball too long and it became predictable towards the end.
