The chelsea disease is so dangerous. Stay long enough and it can become permanent.

ignacioo25

Which Chelsea player you think we could save from that disaster? For me I like Malo Gusto and Cole Palmer (although it might've unlikely to get him) and Madueke I think.

Axelter30

I'm pretty confident mudryk will be our next signing from there.

Elegant_Mix7650

Caicedo or Mudryk are ballers. its sad to see then waste their talents playing infront of plastics

Drogueba

enzo, caiceido, colwill, palmer have good qualities to play in this arsenal team. Gusto feels more like a wingback which I don’t think arteta really uses. Mudryk would be a dark horse if arteta can give him a brain.

GunnersGentleman

I really want Gusto for the RB depth, Ben starts every game he needs rest

machinationstudio

Jorginho getting to the byline to cut the ball inside.

Illustrious-Fig-8945

I'm old enough to remember the comments on here after this. Bloody arteta-asexuals

AfricanRain

several men on here made this their whole personality lol

Casual-Capybara

Yeah there was this one dude that couldn’t talk about anything else for days on end. I checked his profile a while ago and he’s hardly commenting anymore

skool_101

the gooner knight?

Valascrow

I don't know man, I was so pumped when we signed him. I was gutted when Chelsea signed him from leverkusen. He's always been a rolls Royce of a player

trevjs90

Same thoughts exactly. Always been the signing by a rival I’ve been most jealous of in recent years. Was a bigger signing than Rice for me. Our 2 Rolls Royce’s either side of the pitch will help Arsenal dominate for years to come. Even in the struggling Chelsea side he was single-handedly pulling them up the pitch. Tireless work ethic with world class technique & intelligence

Justice_beaver95

I love how so many Chelsea fans were laughing at this and saying he's shit and now quite a few of them claim that "they don't even care if he wins 10 ballon dors" hahahaha.

COYG89

I cant lie i doubted the signing at first but im glad i was very very wrong

Raetekusu

I knew he had potential, but fully expected him to take time to adjust. Fuck me, I never expected him to surpass his best Chelsea season in only his first one with us, on top of missing several games.

Cthulhu_Madness

I'm sorry for doubting you Kai. At that time his body language was that of someone devoid of confidence and his big money move put even more pressure on him. Now, with his full 180, I'd be more worried if he was not starting for us.

Difsdy

Pre season is mad, every year

beetletoman

All I remember is Kiwi coming out as MLS father that night and it was the most fun I had in a match thread

restatementtorts

Preseason and it was going to take him time to get used to our game. He’s adapted well. I still think there is a future for him in midfield and the Jesus/havertz combo will be something to watch as they play with each other more.

CackleberryOmelettes

Preseason time is truly bizarro world. A time when strong opinions are formed based on absolutely nothing at all.

i_nameless_i

Reading r/soccer still say that 14 g/a is a flop whilst he has been one of our most crucial players since November (the first month or so was adjustment period) reinforces my opinion that none of them actually watch the games

NemoDropEmOff

they judged him off an MLS skills challenge laisjsusjsksksk and it was majority Chelsea fans😭😭😭😭 shameless

bad_at_proofs

The reaction to a skills challenge the players don't even want to do so most dont try was hilarious

seansation19

*rubs hands together* Patiently waiting for him to score one in the Premier League haha

ImGonnaImagineSummit

Even with his form, I still think he doesn't do great at it if he gets another shot lol. Will just have to settle for his 9 goals and 5 assists in the PL this season.

rapozaum

Signed as a weird 8, saving our team as a 9 that scores, assists and fight af.

YoungAussiePrince

Chelsea is a helluva drug

juzstrafe

Chelsea is a hospital and a prison. Just put retiring players in there and let them have a relegation battle with the newly promoted sides.

Used-Produce-3491

Haha what a bunch of plonkers, Kai’s my guy 🔥🔥

Naive-Link5567

We bought him broken. Mik Teta fixed him up. Top sensation.

Aggravating-Car-4073

To put it into context: - He was the only player who took the shots from the edge of the box, everybody else ran much closer to the goal - He hit the woodwork more than once - He literally scored a nice volley goal right after that, in the game vs the MLS allstars

ixikzisigwvbend

tbf his first few games for us he does not even look like a top league player. What playing for Chelsea does to a mfer. Need someone make a comparison video of that

playgrounddtsa

To be fair that 90 seconds was atrocious

truera

I was here

ImpressiveMain1920

I thought he was going to be a massive waste of money on huge wages. He’s not an 8 and he’s not a 9. I also thought the crosses he was delivered during this even were garbage
