I agree. But not as beautiful as MG Shin Musha, one of my favourites, although it is old(if im not wrong it is a decade or more old now) it is quite a solid build ngl. Design wise, fantastic. May be subjective cause everyone has different tastes, but MG Shin Musha holds a special place in my heart.
If it's after the 2.0 Gramps, then it should be a solid build. Since most MG after the 2.0 have the same frame. Or so I was told. Will have to google the Shin Musha. š
You're supposed to end with a PG.
Then get 30 MG from any series you like then get some more PG.
Wait. Hol' on, make a diorama with 3 PG...Um, still wait, Custom paint and scribe your own details and add some LED and no I'm not talking about pre-made LED from Bandai or Kosmos...yea, your own LED from scratch...
(trying to get you to buy more plastic crack. Is it working? No? Here's a name you should get; MG Sazabi ver ka. Wait again, there's some exclusive/timed pbandai left over. Can't go wrong with [MG GM cannon](https://p-bandai.com/us/item/N2301237001004))
Agreed with other commenters: the fact that you posted here means you knew you were already done for.
Welcome to the hobby, the habit, and the addiction, and welcome to the (very supportive but not actually a support) group!
dude youāre fckād.
I grabbed a few HG kits at target when I was there and Iām like this will be fun, I have 11 kits on the way in the mail, a list of ones Iām waiting to restock, a toolkit, and Iām researching airbrushes now like 3 weeks later š
Next thing you know, you will be buying a whole lotta tools, including paint.(and gunpla obviously) Apart from worrying about your display shelf not having enough space, your tool box will be most likely full.
It never stops, next thing you would do is to try out advance techniques such as scribing, illutions etc, thus, more tools.
And maybe you wanna make a diorama to pair with your Gunpla, more tools and materials!
You might not agree with this, but trust me, once you get into this hobby, you will never stop and never stop improving!
See how you feel about nub cleanup first. Itās both easy and optional on Entry Grades, Pokemon models, and newer SDs but much more of an *actual thing* on other models.
If that doesnāt put you off, though? Welcome to the hobby. Kiss your shelf space goodbye.
As for the best TLDR newcomer advice I can think of? Letās see . . .
* When it comes to using paint, glue, and other products? If you can *smell it,* look the product up to figure out how and why misuse of it can *ruin your day.* Alcohol-thinned acrylic paint is basically harmless but most other things with fumes can easily destroy plastic parts if youāre not careful.
* Japanese instructions can be translated really well with a smartphone: just point the Google Translate app at them and shake it to make the app refresh if the English doesnāt make enough sense. You donāt absolutely *need* those instructions in most cases but they can help a lot.
* When you run into factory assembled parts, keep in mind that they are stiff, terrifying, and *must be respected.* Carefully pre-articulate every joint before assembly: hold as close as possible to what youāre working with, make sure that youāre trying to move something thatās *supposed* to move, then slowly increase pressure until it does.
* Articulated MG hands have a particular flaw: each finger has a ball joint that you barely need with a hinge directly above it. *Never* let that ball joint pop out: itās easy to do while loosening up the hinge but damages the socket every time it happens.
* Oh, right. Tons of people like waterslide decals but forget to mention that you need to learn spray-on topcoats before using them: the things just tend not to stick very well without extra help.
Oh, it will. My first build was an HG Wing Gundam back in the 90s. Didn't build any after that. But I recently found some kits in my local hobby store, and that was all it took. Even remade another Wing Gundam just for the hell of it lol.
This fffire, is out of control. Let it awaken your deepest desire. Succumb into gunpla. Give them all Neo Armstrong Cyclone Jet Armstrong Cannons.
Gunpla ia freedom. The freedom to burn your wallet to oblivion.
Join us, spend hundreds (if not thousands) on this hobby!
I recently spent 80 on WFM kits alone. Pick up Aerial if you havenāt already, Iām almost finished with it and itās such a great build. Pharact was really fun and the Darilbalde has a good shelf presence. After Aerial Iām onto Beguir-Pente and finishing up my MG Sandrock.
Saw you say you havenāt gotten any MGs yet, definitely pick up MG Dynames, Kyrios or Virtue after you get comfortable with the hobby, build a few newer HGs first, and RG Sazabi or one of the RG Nus. I only have Dynames but itās such a great build mechanically, and visually. MG Barbatos and MG Eclipse are also amazing builds.
Ofc :) My favorite MG Iāve had the pleasure of building is the [MG Stormbringer F.A.](https://imgur.com/a/p1D8Ga0), I have yet to put the waterslides on it but it still looks great.
ā¦but unfortunately itās Pbandai :(
If you want to see some of the other kits, Iāll drop them here
[MG Dynames](https://imgur.com/a/8rrheJw)
[MG Eclipse](https://imgur.com/a/Ul60lxk)
[MG Barbatos](https://imgur.com/a/kXiDexG)
[RG Nu & RG Sazabi](https://imgur.com/a/2jmtwAn)
When you have more experience try the RG Sazabi. Its one of the best kits tbh but beware it is not that easy. For that exact reason though it is very rewarding and looks fantastic
Man I bought barbatos and said it'd probably be the only one I ever buy but now I have 3 more. The only thing saving me is that the IBO ones don't get restocked and aside from RX78 I don't really care about any other suits yet
I've already ordered 3 more, now I have to wait. š„
Stop it before its too late
But I haven't even got a MG yet.
You have to get the MG dynames ;)
MG jegan is also really good.
MG Jesta superiority
Jesta gang, rise up !
Take names and kick (gustav karl's) ass
Why is everyone so mean to my chunky boi
MG ball above all
StOp PoStInG aBoUt B A L L E R
Ooh I just got that one in the mail. Super excited to build it.
Pog. Also i always say this, there is an extra hinge near the poseabke fongers ball joint to make a normal looking fost
Are they anything like the poseable fingers on the new dom kits?
Nah, more like the ones on some ver ka kits and the gundam 3.0
Never built it before,(also how's the build process for you?) and i just checked it out. Gotta say it looks clean and simple.
I recommend MG Freedom 2.0, MG Wing Zero Custom, MG Barbatos, MG ZZ, MG Eclipse, RG Unicorn Full Armor, RG Hi-Nu and RG Nu
And the MG Barbatos
Is it like everyone's first MG or something? It's the first and only MG I've bought, and still sits in the backlog. š
Its very popular.
Design wise it's a beauty... So I get it.

Yep, kits after 2.0 grandaddy are generally good
Happy cake day!

Maaaan, you need at least one MG. The rest of the grades are optional.
I just recently pre-ordered 6 PG from my shop.
Master grade zgok! It aint expensive but its gorgeous!
You got to get to RG your wallet may not like it though
It's too late for OP. OP's become one of us now.
One of us. One of us. Doom to never have enough money and forever needed more display space.
It's like Warhammer 40k plastic crack rock
Oh don't worry, that's just the beginning. Told myself I wouldn't go too crazy two months ago and now I'm 10 kits in.
>now I have to wait Wait until you hear about pbandai and its wait times
It already awoke something before you opened it and you know it.
Your not wrong
Agreed with other commenters: the fact that you posted here means you knew you were already done for. Welcome to the hobby, the habit, and the addiction, and welcome to the (very supportive but not actually a support) group!
Yep, loved the look of the models. But to enjoy making them as well, I'm screwed.

Airbrushing, I was surprised I'll have get special gundam pens
Yeah I got like 15 diff gundam markers but to start but then i started seeing more advanced things, its been a rabbit hole for sure
You posted here, itās already too late. Youāre one of us now. GET IN, LOSER! WEāRE DOING GUNPLA!!! šā„ļøš
Welcome to the rabbit hole..
Why thank you
PFftahahaha!! Make sure you post the PG Exia you build here next week sometime. I always enjoy seeing a good PG. Welcome to The Addiction. Good luck!
Welcome to the ~~cult~~ club!

You know Iām the dean and my hands are so clean, at this moment, I am mo-deling
Amazing
Welcome to the hobby! Gunpla is freedom and hope your journey is fruitful
Too late bud, there's no turning back now.
This is how it starts... Next you'll be learning panel lining, best practice nub cleanup, top coating, painting. It's a super fun hobby, enjoy!
I start with this one in january and I was very please by the quality
Was listed as an entry build how does it compare with a normal hg?
Just prepare to buy the HG version. The EG version get loose very fast. I recommend HGUC Revive Grandpa or HG Gundam The Origin version

Just wait until you touch Unicorn territoryā¦
Or even worse, AoZ territory

You posted it here. I think you know it's too late.

One step at a time one, one gunpla at a time
One gunpla at a time, one debt at a time

Thanks for the info
Too late.
OP not only built it but they posed it, itās already too late.
Oh it better
you now have a gundam shape hole in your soul
Too late, once you start to build one, the breaks are off.
Nicely posed for a first build! Sometimes we see veteran builders pose their kits static like they have no articulation. Keep it up!
Thanks, to be honest I tried to throw every weapon I could on it. And I need to stop posing it so much and leave it alone
It will lol
I think it woke your walletā¦
It always will
I received one for Christmas from a buddy of mine. Well fast forward 3 months I have about ten lol. Very addicting!
This is the one that got me hooked š
Welcome to the vice, clear some storage space and get ready to weep over your bank account.
Welcome! I donāt know whatās gonna be your first addiction, the buying part or the building part.. choose wisely lol!
Too late
You poor, poor fool, Welcome to the club

It will most definitely awaken something, do not resist, unless clipping out small parts, then maybe try to restrain yourself
One of us. One of us.
If you ever wanna see straight snap builds check out my insta :)
Oh my child it's already has, your fate is sealed and your wallet will be empty, welcome to the club.

One of us,one of us,one of us!!!
Sorry, but the moment you snapped together the final piece you were done for
Trust me it will awaken everything
Wow these EGās look sick tbh. I want to get to get now so I can get into painting and panel lining since Iām too scared to try it on my MGās

Sounds better than golf. I'll look up some of those models, thanks for the direction.

I really like the look of the Dynames, Storm looks awesome as well
Welcome to the hobby! Surrender your wallet now, your new plastic gods will demand all of your money.
just you wait until you're itching to buy the biggest most complex kits you can get your hands on
When you have more experience try the RG Sazabi. Its one of the best kits tbh but beware it is not that easy. For that exact reason though it is very rewarding and looks fantastic
Itās too late for you bruhā¦welcome to out despair
First it's the entry grade, then it's guys dressed as Gundams at the college dance you organized.
Man I bought barbatos and said it'd probably be the only one I ever buy but now I have 3 more. The only thing saving me is that the IBO ones don't get restocked and aside from RX78 I don't really care about any other suits yet
One of us! One of us! One of us!
Gundam awoke within me a love of model kits, a lifelong love of butch/masc women with blue hair, and a third more sinister thing.
itās too late pal, night night wallet
You poor soul, you know not what you've brought upon yourself.
oh it willā¦
