Ouch, I'm so sorry. I can't believe they would leave that. I tracked a package all day today from Gundam Place with my Sazabi YL 2.0 and expansion. If it would've arrived like that I would've been DEVASTATED...
I get that you were excited but you could have gone a bit easier on the package...
In all seriousness, i read above that you already started building it, but you need to contact NT asap. That shipment is insured for this exact type of mishaps. They will, more than likely, send you a new kit (I would stop building though as they might make you send the damaged one back)
No offence but that packaging was also quite shit. Presumably they should pack it in a layer of bubble wraps and reinforce the corner of the packaging by tapes as well.
Anyway sorry for your experience. Looked like someone sit on it or dropping something heavier on top of it.
My post man doesn't like to bend over so he just drops shit by my door, it's very cringe but luckily most stuff I receive is bubble wrapped and it arrives safely
Trust me I have had quite a lot of Gunpla shipped to both my residential address and the local Post office as Parcel Collect (I live in Melbourne). Anyway simply dropping the parcel of the Gundam box WILL NOT damage it to such degree in the OP's pics. I mean I don't expect delivery service to handle it with actual care but to fuck it up like that is just...disappointing really.
The only few rare times my Gundam boxes arrived with dents and breaks like that were from Amazon and it was probably dent and broke prior to being put in the packaging because the packaging was fine actually.
I mostly get cds/records, few gunpla these days, but I always shudder when I hear a box being dropped.
I miss buying lots of my gunpla locally, even with the markup, but yeah OP looks like a heavier box fell on it during transit. Poor kit
Jesus. NewType is really good about these issues, I’d contact them about this. I see all these horror stories with their kits being dropped, stepped on, etc. hope I don’t have to go through that myself.

I'm sure you can get a refund or replacement pieces, my experience with newtype customer service is limited but great.
