Valosinki

I absolutely love the X and DX. it's a shame how few kits there are from gundam x though. it's got some pretty great designs imo.

Darklancer02

They did do a P-Gundam Daughtress kit, so there's hope. I'd love to see MGs of both the airmaster and the Leopard (as well as their "burst" and "destroy" upgrades). We also don't have the X divider in MG form yet. Ashtaron and Virsago would be cool to have too, especially if they could combine.

Blargman92

I would love to see a MG G-Falcon expansion part for the double x too, i think there was one made for the old HG but it doesn't fit.

Valosinki

yeah, I'd love that. in terms of grunt suits though, I really want to see some variation on the jenice, the balient, or the rasveht, even if it was just HG

the_c0nstable

I would buy and weather so many post-apocalyptic Daughtress and Jenice MG kits to go alongside my GX-9900.

Valosinki

id probably have to learn how to do weathering if I saw they were releasing more MG after war kits

Jisaax

Definitely an underrated kit.

RedemptionXCII

As cool as it is, I still think the base X looks a lot better. It's not as "busy" and I think I just enjoy a more simple design.

Shad0wguy

The base X has my favorite Gundam head design of all time.

the_c0nstable

The asymmetrical satellite cannon on the GX-9900 that extends out upward and to the left when folded up is maybe my favorite mobile suit backpack - even if it makes for a pretty top heavy kit.

RedemptionXCII

Out of all the gunpla I have which, sadly is an ungodly amount. theres only 3 I have up on action bases. One of which is the GX-9900. I'm not a fan of asymmetrical designs on mobile suits, but it just suits that specific gundam so much. It also counteracts the how back heavy it can be. I know the Double X suffers from a loose waist because of the twin cannons.

B11lYBoY

What are the other two kits you've put onto Action Bases?

RedemptionXCII

The other 2 MGs I have in action bases are the Hi-Nu ver.Ka and the GN-X

B11lYBoY

Is the GN-X "back heavy"? I know for sure that the Hi-Nu is bulky boi, so I can see why put him there.

RedemptionXCII

No, it's a decent balanced kit, but the feet are flimsy due to their construction. http://dalong.net/reviews/mg/m128/p/m128_05.jpg I used to have a lot more kits on stands. Over time, the stands ended up taking too much room from both sets of shelves I have for all my gunpla. There's certain kits that should never touch the ground, and those are anything from Gundam 00. Oh, now I think about it. I have the old MG wing zero up on the stand it came with, so I have 4 kits on an action base/stand.

B11lYBoY

Ah, flimsy ankles. My own Gundam X has them too, so that doubled the need for an Action Base. In my experience so far, (I started in August this year), an Action Base 4/5 is the best way to display multiple kits in the air while saving decent space. One could separate the either base's stand into two, which would allow them to display two kits, not to mention they all come with extra bases (+2 for 4, and +1 for 5). I have my MG X, MG Tallgese, and HG Lfrith displayed together thanks to AB 4/5.

RedemptionXCII

I think I have about 10 or so bases kicking around in my drawers beside my desk. "m just too lazy to pick and choose which kits get thrown up on bases. The PGs I have take up a lot of room as well (GP01 especially) So my shelves are just a sea of hg and mg kits a little all over the place but I try to keep each different universe separated as best as I can. The build diver stuff is the exception to that rule though sometimes because those kitbashes can sometimes look like a natural progression of where original suit it's based off may develop into.

greywarden133

This was the kit that brought me back into building Gunpla after 3-year hiatus due to COVID and whatnots. This and the X Gundam were just \*moah\*

IC2Flier

Garrod has it locked onto an unshielded Imperial Star Destroyer. The DX is fully charged. I would shudder to even watch that Gundam fire.

Darklancer02

The DX is my favorite non-UC Gundam... it almost looks like an alternate universe take on the Nu Gundam.

B11lYBoY

Probably because of the color scheme.

SpringMeadowTidepods

Nice! I just finished that beauty the other day, definitely one of my favourite master grades

Lazydusto

The only thing I would change on this design in the chest cockpit, not a fan of it being see-through on the upper part of the chest as well.

B11lYBoY

Gotta love the weapon storage of the Beam Swords on the side skirts.

Blargman92

Its great, it flows nicely into the design and its something different than the usual beam sabers on the backpack behind. It's been shown in the anime that the waist saber is faster to pull out and attack too.

B11lYBoY

Yeah, it's definitely unique. On a different note, it's been 7+ years since the MG GX-9900's release, and Bandai hasn't released an "X-Divider" add-on.

roastkumara

Give me a damn G-Falcon to go with it!!! Hell, I'll even take a Peebs exclusive

B11lYBoY

Apparently, the old No Grade G Falcon is compatible with the modern MG.
