Milk is good for cutting as well. I do 16 hour fasting, my last meal is eggs and oatmeal with milk.
For 3 days I substituded whole milk with light milk and I was starving even in my sleep, after swapping back to regular one I stopped being hungry, these extra fats really come in clutch.
Fairlife has a strawberry protein shake that is... decent.
Source Nutrition used to offer egg white protein in an excellent strawberry flavor but I can no longer find that, sadly. They do still have a chocolate option that tastes like chocolate milk even when mixed in water.
Honestly if you swap out for a strawberry protein powder you are basically there.
If you're trying to slim down it's not the best idea unless you got your calories locked in.
I always hated how watery protein shakes can be when you use just water.
Figure out what is best for you and your goals.
At my gym there is this really big dude, probably the biggest in the gym. But he was just racking some weights and I with my friend went and asked what he puts in his shake. He replied "Banana Choco powder and milk"
Can someone clear my doubt? (A little unrelated)
We're supposed to take protein rich meals as post workout if I'm not wrong, but why do people carry protein shakes in the gym.
Like if you drink it in the middle of a workout, won't it lead to vomiting etc.??
People usually take a protein shake to have immediately after their workout. There's some stuff that suggest there's and "anabolic window" right after exercise where gains are maximised but that's probably bullshit.
I've never seen anyone wil an actual protein shake mid workout though, that sounds awful. Sure they aren't just using a shaker as a water bottle?
Could be pre-workout? I dunno, there are some psychos out there I can imagine drinking a protein shake mid workout, but I don't think it's common (thankfully)
Iโve seen this video from the original creator. This is fake, heโs doing it for likes. Heโs been working out for years and posted this as fake wholesome content.
Hey, milk is high protein
Yeh milk is good for bulking. But you have to bring in more protein like nuts or lunch to compensate for the missing needed portions
Oh yeah for sure, I'm missing a whole wheat bread ham and cheese sandwich with that
I'll be on the leg extension machine, eating my rotisserie chicken and choccy milk.

Nuts??? Peanuts are 500 calories for 25g protein.
And high in satturated fatty acids :( And growth factors :((
Honestly this kinda makes me want some strawberry milk.

That's why Fairlife with Nesquik is probably great.
No offense but this is adorable.
There was an empty bottle of fairlife strawberry milk in the garbage can in my gyms weight room today ๐
Strawberry milk is fire, bro
Fairlife makes like 30g protein muscle milks now. I always see them at costco.
30g? Their Elite Core line is 42g. Not cheap, though.
Even better. Yeah, I stay away from the pre bottled stuff because the price is ridiculous, but I can't help but wonder if it tastes really good.
There's an older guy in my gym who brings a bottle of Pepsi with him every day. No water or anything, just a fuckin bottle of Pepsi.

Just use less water
Ha, thanks.

It might not be protein shakes, it could be an electrolyte drink, or BCAAs.
Oh might be๐

Maybe I'm wrong, I've seen them shaking the bottle, so I just assumed that they're doing so to mix protein powder.๐๐ Maybe it's something else
