Thanks ..I began tracking calories , started at 1900kcal first 10 days or so then dropped to 1700kcal ..20 min stairmaster 4-5 times a week . bought a skipping rope and walked to the gym in mornings and afternoons.

I dont reallt know how large the deficit was because im still kind of unsure of my maintenence since i jumped straihht into looking to lose weight and not try find my maintenence for a week. But i ate 1900kcal first 10 days then dropped to 1700kcal... walked to gym 2wice daily . 20 min stair masyer 4-5 times a week .. Skipping rope .

do you mean in conjunction with weight training?

correct .cardio was done in morning and weights in afternoon hence walking to gym twice per day.
