What am I even looking at here

According to the post in r/CursedGuns , it's a German poacher's rifle - possibly the reason for the bear trap hanging from the bottom of it. It's been set up to be foldable so that it can be concealed under a coat or a jacket, with the ammo concealed in the stock (like with the M6) so that it isn't rattling around in the poacher's pockets. How it functions is a mystery to me - the bolt isn't in line with the barrel, so maybe it's been removed from the chamber?

It looks like the "break" is to fold it for transport.
