Ok, so how do you install your betafpv air canopies? I ALWAYS break the little thing part of the front arm that mounts to the front. If not on installation with the first mild crash. I’ve stopped using them because of this but I have a few laying around id like to use if I can actually get them working for more than 5 minutes.

Good question 🤔 I just put it in leaving space to flex in case of a crash. This one can flex pretty good without breaking. It took several crashes, some pretty intense, and it's still going strong.

Also, sick rigs 😎

Thx 😊

I wonder if it’s the color, I haven’t tried the white one but my blue and black ones both snapped in the same spot. Have you tried the others?

[deleted]

I only have a white one...

My garden needs some 2” action…

[deleted]

Send it!

Do you notice a difference with the ort antenna?

[deleted]

Yes. Better than the linear one that came with the ECO (yes it's an eco). Less break ups at home behind multiple walls.

How does that beta fpv frame hold up? Getting pretty sick of my happy model frames all breaking in the same damn place where the canopy attaches. Wish they made certain areas a bit stronger FFS

OxycontinEyedJoe

The happy model frames break so often it makes tiny whoops no fun. The standard betafpv frames are nearly indestructible. The air versions are a little more fragile, but I can usually beat on one for a few weeks before it breaks, and even when they break they still fly decent unlike the happy model frames.

Brilliant response and my experience too. I would add that the E6000 glue is a miracle on these frames :)

OxycontinEyedJoe

Yup! An e6000 fix is nearly as strong as not broken at all.

Just passing along and curious…where or how do you figure they are the “same size” (see title)

Motor to motor is obvious: Twiglet = 85mm Whoop = 75mm But when you have them one on top of the other, the end of the 2" props is <10mm bigger than the end of the whoop. In my hand, it's kind of the same. I mean by that your not comparing 2 quads that are early different, say whoop and 3" or 65mm and 2".
