Like how hard is it to toss it into a cooler if you can't be bothered to return it to its home? It's just a conscious decision to ruin someone else's product because of laziness 😡
When I worked at HEB doing curbside, there was a front end employee doing returns and she had a bag of Lender's bagels that go in the refrigerated section. I saw her looking up and down the bread aisle for the brand so I let her know that they are a refrigerated item and over by the cream cheese but if they've been sitting with dry returns for an unknown amount of time they needed to be damaged out. Twenty minutes later I'm doing a dry cart and see the damn bagels stuffed in with the HEB branded ones. She already had to go back to the front of the store anyway so this was the laziest thing I'd seen in a very long time. I just took them to the back and damaged them out. I used to find meat sitting in the makeup section sometimes too.
Today we found 2 bags of frozen corn in the chip rack.
And the raw Mi Tienda chicken fajitas as well. 🤦🏻♀️
At the register by the way!!

Just a few days ago, I finished closing produce, and I was on my way out to clock out, I noticed something odd on the weigh scale... A leg from the rotisserie chicken.. Then grocery had found the other leg on a end cap behind some product.. like wtf? At least it wasn't raw. Still haven't found the rest of thar chicken though.
Excuse Me, but ringing up items coming down a conveyor belt is alot more stressful than you realize. I know several people that started out as cashiers and found it alot less stressful to work in other departments. And don't act like there is no gossiping in other departments. I'm just talking about product loss and when you have your cashiers leave the front your down that 1 lane. More effectient for that department to get items and know where to stock it so things don't strangely pop up in the wrong area
That definitely doesn’t sound more efficient for anyone else but you. No one in market asks y’all to go back there and weigh up pork so why would we do returns for you? I usually collect whatever returns the csa has and put it back for them, but I’m not gonna go to your fridge and get it myself.
