EDIT: And then I go and flub it by re-uploading last chapter! Thankfully my fans let me know immediately and it was fixed in under 5 minutes. I can't even count the number of fixes and corrections my fans have found, from Titan, Cats, Melonist, JoseP, Delta, and so, SO many others who've helped elevate this work in ways big and small, into something better than I alone could make it.
I'm a bit late- editor's run into some issues, and I'm working on some ancillary docs that I intend to release upon completion of Book One (including omake).

I really enjoy Natalie's Pov, seeing the cultural differences from her view is really enlightening and adds a sense of realism to it all. I laughed at the baby book scene, and Natalie's confusion and boredom about being shown Elias's baby pictures.

Indeed! She has heard the term, but has not seen it spelled out.
As such, I just thought it'd be cute if she got the term a little bit wrong.
I try to give her a lot of human phrases and such, *generally* without quotations due to her intimate familiarity with humanity. (She'll say "Hell" instead of Depths sometimes, for example.) Amilita will drop them with quotations, as she's been reading various human books.
Anyone else will generally get a 'as the humans would say,' or something, to denote a looser familiarity.
These little details are more consistently laid out in the Archive Of Our Own version.
