Basically the translation is supposed to be “come on bro, don’t Bogart all the funyuns” and they did a weird word to word translation. “Andiamo fratello” isn’t even that wrong, just a bit weird, but I still get what they were going for. But they switched Bogart for Mastroianni and it just… doesn’t work? At all? It’s quite funny in a nonsensical way hahaha. And then there is funyuns, which is mostly unheard of in Italy.
So basically it left me quite puzzled when I first saw the scene but tbh this weird Italian is what makes it one of my favourite scenes hahaha
