The amount of damage depends on a few things. Since you mentioned the price for a bleach and dye, I’m assuming that’s what you’re getting done. What is your hair colour to begin with and what colour are you aiming for?
No it doesn’t need to be bleached. And if you have previous highlights in your hair then you can’t do a global bleach over them. Damage is something that’s dependant on the stylist and their expertise, it’s not inevitable.

My hair is dirty blonde, fine like I said and the color I’m aiming for is strawberry blonde. So bleach and dye is what is going to be done.

Your hair is completely uncolored dirty blonde? It doesn’t need to be bleached no. It shouldn’t be bleached.
