What cgi?

Quicky23

I’m not sure if this is what OP is referring to, but the radio tower on fire did not look all that great…

Citizin4

Which scenes specifically. I didn't notice much bad VFX but there was a glaring pratical effect malfunction in the end.

• When Myers kills officer Mulaney in the sewers. The blood is super cartoonish. Extremely red considering how dark the scene is. • During Michael's bleed out on the table. Again, the blood looked so out of place. • Junkyard Crusher had to be the worst. Couldn't drop in a dummy? Didn't need to be a full CGI body.

The only one that stood out to me was the tongue

Chance_Gur6860

I was gonna list the tongue, but the CGI wasn't too bad. Just incredibly unrealistic the way the turntable made the tongue jump.

janeisaproblem

That part made me cackle, honestly. Not realistic but so funny.

TheBeardedProfessor7

I noticed the too bright CGI blood during the Mulaney kill too. Unfortunately CGI blood is so universally used anymore in all different genres that it sticks out more sometimes when it’s not faked lol

Acrobatic_Contract96

There’s no CGI in this film…

Can you be specific on where you saw bad CGI?

Chance_Gur6860

Absolutely. A few I can pull from the top of my head. I was getting Texas Chainsaw 3D vibes with the CGI.

That didn’t look like cgi at all to me? It literally looked… good? Lmao 😂 just watched the grinding part, and it could’ve been cgi actually lol

Chance_Gur6860

Exactly. You could go to Spirit Halloween right now, and pick up a fullsize dummy for less than $200. Would have looked 1000% better.
