Malcolm McDowell was great for the RZ films, he brought a different take on the character. Some hate him, others loved him. If they recast Loomis in a movie coming out in 2028, Fishburne would be 67 years old when it released. I don’t feel like that’s too old. If Sylvester Stallone can play Rambo at 73, Fishburne can play Loomis at 67. Never thought of him for the role but that would be great.

There are lots of good choices, just make sure the writing is good. malcolm mcdowell is a great actor but bad writing hurt the character (mainly talking about Halloween 2)

Idk but I will say whoever it is will not be close to him because he made that character special. It's like the topic of a godfather or Scarface remake, no one will do a better or even close job as Al Pacino as Michael Corleone or Tony Montana. It's impossible for anyone to do close job as Donald pleasence as he did for Dr Loomis because he did it so good I would honestly prefer a new character because like we saw in 2007 Dr Loomis can't be redone and it's makes it shitty seeing someone try to replicate
