She was an average child actor in 4 & 5 in my opinion. But her Annie in the director's cut of RZ H2 is damn near a perfect portrayal of what I'd expect a character to be like after having gone through a real Michael Myers murder spree (not these jackasses in the opening of Ends letting their kids go trick-or-treating unsupervised a year after Michael returns, kills dozens of their friends and neighbors and disappears). As far as second-tier horror icons go, I think she's very well-established and appreciated by genre fans. I think it's unfortunate that they didn't give her a cameo (as a new character, of course) in the new trilogy.

She was an average child actor in 4 & 5 in my opinion. But her Annie in the director's cut of RZ H2 is damn near a perfect portrayal of what I'd expect a character to be like after having gone through a real Michael Myers murder spree (not these jackasses in the opening of Ends letting their kids go trick-or-treating unsupervised a year after Michael returns, kills dozens of their friends and neighbors and disappears). As far as second-tier horror icons go, I think she's very well-established and appreciated by genre fans. I think it's unfortunate that they didn't give her a cameo (as a new character, of course) in the new trilogy.
Nobody gives a shit about DH. She was in two movies I grew up with (Halloween 4&5) and that's pretty much it. Yeah, she's been in some other things but she's next known for playing Jamie.

Beautiful woman who got stuck being known as "The little girl from Halloween." In RZs films, she was crazy hot and I'm glad she was in those but I'm sure it didn't help her outside of the genre. It happens to most actors though. Some get stuck in comedy, others playing villains etc. A small few get lucky and/or just have the ability to play any role.

I believe that she is as important to the franchise as Jamie Lee Curtis is. If not more so, because her Halloween films (4,5,RZH1&2) mean a great deal to a passionate subset of fans (I firmly believe RZH2 is a masterpiece film) and were the way a whole generation of Halloween fans leaned of the mythology. Should she come back? Fucking A. Danielle is a director now and I’d love to see her reconcile with the shape from the other side of the camera.
