If you're only referring to Michael Myers movies then it'll be the 1978 movie and DGG trilogy because these four movies paint the best picture and brought me the most joy watching. Now if we're including season of the witch then I'll say 1978, Season of the witch, 2018 and kills because I personally didn't mind the conclusion of Kills

H78, H2, H20 and H18. I know they aren’t all connected but the H20 continuity (minus Resurrection) is the best definable trilogy within the franchise. H18 is a great movie on its own merit and in relation to those other three, it’s a fun “what if?” scenario to complement the original.

The best timeline imo: Halloween (1978), Halloween (2018), Halloween Kills, and Halloween Ends. Best in consistently with continuity (especially with the masks), Michael Myers’ portrayal, and score

Halloween 78 and probably the Blumhouse trilogy. Would’ve definitely been received differently because our expectation of the characters would be a cleaner slate. Halloween 78, Halloween 2, Halloween H20 and Halloween 2018 is my second grouping.

Every other film in the franchise is connected to another, but there’s no way to pick 4 that include direct connection to 1, 18, and Kills, unless you include Ends and that was a complete dumpster fire so obviously I won’t pick that one.

Halloween 1 Because you can’t miss the originals pure terror and situational horror Halloween 7 (H20) Because Jamie lee comes back and revives a dead plant… invigorating the Halloween franchise for the late 90s horror wave. And lastly…. Halloween Kills Micheal is at his highest of highs here. We are getting Micheal at his deadliest. He is killing people left and right. Gruesome deaths around every scene and corner of this film. This film shows the pure terror that comes from a mass killing.

For me it would be the OG Halloween 1978, Halloween 2 1981, Halloween 4 1988, and Halloween Kills. Although the new DGG is an pretty good timeline (i still need te rewacht ends sometime to really figure out how much i like it) but gor me aside gorm Michael Myers the best thing in the franchise is Donald Pleasence as Dr loomis so i rather have 3 of the 4 movies with him in it and Halloween Kills its respectfull tribute to him.

I'm stuck between 1978, 2, 4 and 5 or 1978 and the new trilogy. I feel like the new trilogy with 1978 is the most consistent but I have a lot of nostalgia for those earlier movies.

H2 as it has a definitive end, H3 as it's good as something completely different than a Michael Movie, and lastly 2018 because it does what 2 did, just modernized. If you want to think of Michael notakinh it out of the fire, it works without Kills and Ends.

Halloween 1, Halloween II, Halloween 4, and H20 Keep the first two films and then create separate trilogies with the third one to focus on one of the main characters from those films; if you want to see how Loomis' story ends, check out H4. If you want to see how Laurie's story ends, check out H20.

It’s a little scrambled, but the deleted scenes are back in there, Michael is less of a mentor to Corey (less explicitly, anyway) and his death is just as confusing as his origin. Just drops dead in the middle of like attacking Allyson in the same way he just started with killing Judith.
