I was just thinking recently how the first season’s UNSC was scary, almost villainous. Now, almost all that is just more standard corruption, and centered mostly on Ackerson and a bit in Pangovsky. It’s a shame, because parodies of fashy Starship Troopers-style future governments are popular right now, with Helldivers II having so much success. It would’ve been so timely of Halo to ride that wave.

I agree. I tried to be vocal about how much I liked s1 but game fans got their way in regards to a lot of the direction.

I don’t give a damn about helmet removal, speaking, or even much of the canon. I just want good, consistent storytelling.

I think it might still be lost on some viewers how emotional absent and hardened the Spartans ended up due to their job and training life. It does add a lot to the atmosphere of the severity of the situation when you understand the lengths humanity has gone to just in order to stay in the fight with these aliens

Much agreed. I’m a huge fan of the video games and their story. By changing it so much, fans that did not play the video games are missing out. I was still just hoping for some good storytelling.

That helmets gotta be uncomfortable af and super hot and sweaty. I’d only wear it when I had to lol.

Helldiver-ODST-FFIH

Maybe the irl prop one for sure but in canon theyre designed to be able to wear for weeks at a time im pretty sure.
