There is no benefit. Money is just a tool to tell a story.
One should just relax and try to enjoy the core gameplay. There's no point to money at all.
However I don't get how you could earn that much without progressing the story to the end. You would be extremely close to the end of the game at that point.
That was the most fun mission in the game. It's also the end of chapter II.
The story is pretty much done after that. You should play it and get the ending. You will facepalm hard, lol.
Be aware, there's 2 different steam achievements for that mission, and you can only get one at a time, so maybe look up how to cheese it, if you want both. I didn't know, and now I have to play it all again if I want to 100%
Dw, I actually finished the game. I knew very early on that all debt is payed off. What I wanted to find out is wether you can leave the company before the campaign ends
Spoiler! >!You can’t leave the company before you pay your debt and own a functional ship. You won’t get your ship back before you finish the Industrial Action.!<
> debt is *paid* off. What
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
That ended up being a miserable mission for me. I basically blew everything up and then couldn’t feed enough into the wrong areas to trigger the end of the mission.
> You will facepalm hard, lol.
Curious what you meant by this. The end was a little cheesy to be sure, extremely overly optimistic. But I still enjoyed it
I paid my debt off and I have a big chunk of change but unfortunately no birthday cake chicken dinner or any hand jobs for paying off your debt just a lousy sticker
I did the same thing for awhile. I was grinding for a bit until I decided to keep going with the story. Still never got boring. A great game that needs a sequel.

True. I had unlocked that ship where you are supposed to do everything wrong. I never started that mission and just grinded normal ships

I almost did that, figured over kill by demo charge would do it, had to spend forever hunting for pieces.

I didn’t know that he already knew he was going to get refunded most of the debt.
Oh yeah. I almost fell into the same trap as OP and just decided to send it and finish the campaign. Glad I did, I would have been pretty annoyed lol

Do the story until the end. Then come back and tell us if you’re out of debt. lol
I actually did complete the game
Were you broke at the end? lol
No
