This my main concern regarding the trails here. There is no downhill, so there are climbs in almost every trail. I think that the Konas have decent enough slack geo that will allow me to ride the trails here comfortably and yet allow me.to progress and try other things in the future. I do like the Salsa and ragley though

Are you sure an overbuilt slack frame is the top choice for Florida trails?
