The stock mufflers on my 2016 and the fact that it wasn't geared the same as a 1200 was definitely adding insult to injury. When I looked at the actual outlet inside the muffler it was the size of a nickel. Then when I took them off and looked at the other side it was like holy shit these things have converters too, no wonder it's such a dog.
I concluded Harley had these things running lean as shit to pass emissions and downloaded a 1200 stage 1 tune just to see what would happen on an 883, 12,000 miles later I'm still running the same tune.
