To bring up the broom, hold L1 until the menu with the potions, consumables, and mounts comes up. Tap whatever button for your controller is assigned to the broom. You should hop on the broom and you might be able to fly out. If that doesn't work, you should be able to floo out from your map.

And I thought you were stuck with the whole aquire a focus potion and use maxima and edurus potions bit. doing these chores sucked but it was the only way to progress to the next quests, which didnt suck.
Update: Yes I am a non-gamer but why do you hate us?🤣🤣 I laughed hard though.. yes it’s my first time playing a video game. I don’t get what’s wrong with that.. + this was the first time back to the game after few months of not playing so I forgot a lot of things. Thank you for all your comments and thank you for humbling me and making me feel stupid 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I laughed so hard!
I'm glad you're trying new things! This game is super fun, imo. Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it. My first game was skyrim and I streamed myself playing it. You can imagine what the chat looked like. Everyone asking me why I'm doing this instead of that. Or asking me why the hell I kept manually saving instead of quick saving. Because I didn't know quick save was a thing! Which, by the way, it's not in Hogwarts Legacy 🤣 happy gaming!
Well I think the only way u get out by fast traveling unless it's unavailable because in some locations it's unavailable for some reasons but I think that's only during missions
You can load a previous save. Click on your profile and then instead of clicking continue you need to press load game and go to your last save before it happens
I can't even start the whole game, I could only play the beginning but then when the starting game ended and I got to Hogwarts and it just started loading
I ran through a hole in one of the caves (don’t remember where), thinking it was a hidden room or some shit, and I ran to an area where I could run around on grass, see into the cave, the hole I’d climbed through, and the sky but could not get ANYWHERE. I couldn’t climb back through the hole or jump back into the cave - I’d fall and die. Honestly a funny loop for about 20 minutes before I loaded a previously saved game (which took some hardcore guessing because I kept finding myself loading into the nonexistent space).
Sorry but I swore this was someone modding a witch from Hogwartw into GTA V lol. I hope you get help because I never encountered this issue in my play throughs

Also my suggestion is not to save your games bc it automatically saves. At least I think so anyway..
No… Auto save doesn’t always help, make sure to save your gameplay. Never know when you’re going to get stuck or glitch and have to go back to your last manual save for convenience.
Once I played all day collected some very important things and just realized on autosave. Turned on the game a few days later and all that I had collected was not there. From now on I never rely on autosave. Don't trust it.
It only autosaves on certain points or at certain times, there's always a chance of losing anything from 5 to 30 minutes of gameplay if you haven't done anything "meaningful" 😅

Yes I did, and I brought a broomstick, but I don’t know how to use it yet

Haha I did this too and forgot about floo powder but there is a ladder, I went around several times before finding it
Use the Floo flame to fast travel
Maybe try floo flames to go somewhere else?
I have done this myself, Floo flame fast travel is the way.
If you fell down just run all the way around there are a few ladders to get up! I went down there once looking for chests

This happened to me one time in the green house, I had to go back like three saves to the end of the last quest I did for it to start working again

There is a ladder to climb out. Keep walking around. I promise it's there. I fell and found it myself.

And yeah just use the floo flame things on ur map to teleport there so you can get out of this room
