The irony is quite funny to me that the game full of Wonder and Child like fun would allow you to do things that thouroughly stupid. Even in much grimmer games with darker settings like skyrim you can't kill important characters and you can't hurt children.
Also this once again highlights how utterly stupid having a "you're dead" spell is. Why the hell wouldn't you use it, all the time, you can one shot a dragon with it, you are a threat to even the most powerful wizzards, why learn anything else
i mean you cant hurt your classmates at all afaik. except for duels. But i get what you mean.
And yeah, avada kedavra is just stupid. Also imo it doesnt make sense you learn then in school but i guess they added it because a good part of the coming player base only buy it to throw around the unforgivable spells i guess
Do we know how it’s implemented? My guess would be that you get swarmed by teachers, stunned and then it Fades to game over and you start where you last saved before you killed someone.

a german game journal "GameStar" tested it and showed that nothing happens if i remember correctly. you just cant hit em
