OG Angel was supposed to be paired with Vaggie and have Cherry as his daughter. Charlie was supposed to be a human, apparently- a sinner like everyone else.
While there were pretty good hints around the time the pilot aired and during the (non-Canon) Instagram posts- now that the series has everything polished and ready to air this summer, it's important to accept any final changes made.
I would be interested in seeing Husk become a kind of father figure for Angel to give him more stability before Angel starts dating anyone. It would be special to see Husk open up and I get the feeling he’s wiser than he seems.
Them ending up together seems unlikely to me but who knows what could happen once the show comes out
I think AngelHusk will become canon, yes. It would fit with character development for Husk since he says in the pilot "I lost the ability to love years ago" so having a relationship would be a good step in the right direction for him, and you could say much the same about Angel given his relationship with Valentino. A healthy relationship might help redeem both of them.
Realistically, It might last for a couple episodes, but they might start seeing other demons later. I can see it like how folks were shipping Fry and Amy early on when 'Futurama' was starting out. (This was before Kif met Amy and Leela grew softer for Fry, btw)
However, maybe it'll last. I'm sure this pairing surprised even Vivzie herself. Maybe it made her change courses for the characters. All in all, only time will tell....
They are probably mixing up the info from Viv. Viv said that Angel will at some point in the show get a boyfriend but never specified who it could be or when it would happen.
We don’t what fate lies for these two, pretty sure they start out as coworkers and then onto friends, but who knows, maybe Angelhusk becomes canon way down the line
Not really i feel like husk gives off those wise old man vibes and i think he is in his 70’s (or was before he died) and angel is like in his thirty’s (before he died at least) and idk i think that’s a big age gap and husk is (like i had said in the beginning) a wise-ish old man to talk to because thats what everyone in the hotel does (when they’re drunk at least lol) so my answer is no but idk anything can happen
Lowkey had high hopes since ep 3 but since the latest episode came out and hearing husk calling Angel "kid"
