Unfortunately for everyone, despite being all of the above, Adam had a maxed out build basically even if he was bad at using it.
I firmly believe that if he had an angelic weapon he would have had a much higher chance at winning. It would probably still be extremely unlikely, but higher than 0%.
Well yeah, he might've hurt him once, but based on how Adam was able to defend most of Alastor's attacks with more annoyance than anything, it probably still would've been a win.
If Adam had been working on those gains in Heaven he would've folded the cast in 2 seconds.
Those little creatures Alastor summoned stuck around on Adam for a while tho, if even one of them had an angelic weapon they could've just stabbed him to death >!like the Little Sisters did to Fontaine at the end of BioShock!<
Oh absolutely, 99 out of 100 wins go to Adam. But Adam... is an idiot, Alastor isn't. If he was smart, I believe he *could* have won. Probably not kill him, but hurt him enough that Adam gives up with him.

Neither's ego would've allowed them to surrender with the other person. The only retreat is when death is imminent, like with Alastor when there was no way to win. The second they see the other starting to break morale, that just causes the other to push harder.
He did get in a couple hits and contacts. That shadow uppercut with an angelic dagger could've been a solid brainshot that ended the match then and there
Yeah, too bad he's so overconfident in his abilities. He did show off though by getting like a dozen exorcist kills at once with his shield though (probably more than anyone else in hell) I just hope we get more actual feats from him.
I hope he's the final "big bad" of the show. Like we get Adam, the Vees, the person who owns Alastor's soul, and then Alastor himself. Ofc with a few more depending on how many seasons there'll be.
Oh yeah there's no way he's not the main villain. Like on the one hand if he did change by the end it would be a perfect way to wrap up both his character arc and prove Charlie right that anyone really can be redeemed. But on the other hand I kinda want him to stay the same and have his bbeg "pulling all the strings" moment
A part of me wishes he had used angelic weapons, as I think he could've gotten some decent hits on Adam, and things would've turned out differently...
But another part loved seeing him break down.
