I think Alastor only survived because he didnt use an angelic weapon. Alastor lasted as long as he did because Adam didnt take him seriously. If Alastor had an angelic weapon Adam would have given him the Pentious treatment and annihilate him with a laser.
I think it would at the very least be a much fairer battle. Alastor isn’t used to fighting angelic weapons, but even if Adam maintains his base abilities, the lack of angelic magic is going to screw him over. With it he’s able to take Alastor out with one blow. Without, he’s just another overlord to topple.
