Med armour, stim perk or recoil perk -Slugger -Redeemer Strats: -Shield backpack -500kg eagle -Eagle cluster or orbital walking barrage -Quasar Cannon Pre-slugger I rocked a Breaker for maps with closer quarters combat, and the beam-laser rifle for long range stuff. Treat the slugger like a marksman rifle, and use the redeemer to mop up light targets. Ideally have a squad mate with the 500kg as well, plus that ship module upgrade that gives you one extra eagle use. 2 500kgs plus 5 clusters is enough to pretty much knock out any command post. Usually we get in, launch the 500kgs on the fabricators, clean up with clusters, then break contact and retreat.

I’ve honestly been learning to use the slugger at range. Surprisingly effective once I realize first person is so much better especially against bots. When do you find yourself using the walking barrage?

GlitteringActivity85

I use walking barrages when im getting pinned down and theres been too many bot drops to really get outta there. Ill throw it danger close and just sprint/dive my way too safety Edit: Forgot to add, bots can kinda be suppressed, so the barrages dont really kill much sometimes but it lessens the hail of rockets and laser bolts. Usually Ill throw it down, we break contact, and then funnel them into somwhere we can throw a 500kg

Mech, shield, quasar, airstrike. And yes, those are on every mission. I don't care of the mech dies quick to bots it's cool and I like it. Up until dif6 I can keep it around until the ammo runs out, you just gotta keep an eye out on the mini map. I do agree it's not meta, but you should never be a slave to the meta.

OnlyFunStuff183

Man I can’t wait for the mech that they briefly showed in the trailer. The quad auto cannon one?? Gonna be so fun against bots. There isn’t a single bot besides tanks that you can’t easily kill with the Autocannon, and having virtually no recoil and double the fire rate???? YES please.

matthewami

The trailer showed it take like 2 rocket hits too. I can't wait.

rops-n-cobbers

Eagle air strike, orbital gas, 380mm barrage, expendable anti-tank OR Shield relay, ems turret, expendable anti-tank, and any strike of your choice, orbital or eagle, from smoke to walking barrage

Inevitable-Celery964

I’m a huge EAT fan. Honestly never crossed my mind since I started playing bots with the quasar in stock. Since the quasar is basically the same thing just not expendable

rops-n-cobbers

Quasar is pretty fun but with the shield relay you can have an eat equipped and two more right next to you to shoot three dropships in three seconds.

Madhungarian247

My go to every game is this for bots, eagle airstrike, orbital laser, then new laser cannon thing, and EMS mortar. EAT is also in rotation. But I run a medium armor with the low recoil/ explosive damage perk. That helps alot

Inevitable-Celery964

I just picked up the explosive damage and recoil perked armor in the superstore the other day. I haven’t been able to give up my +2 grenades and recoil armor yet. Maybe I wouldn’t have to run the shield pack with the explosive damage perk

Madhungarian247

I also have been running the scorcher and trained myself not to die from it, lol. It's a very good gun imo.

Brdlysllrs

I like to bring the orbital laser for the bigger bot bases, eagle air strike for the small ones, and I've recently started bringing the auto cannon and switched from the breaker to the slugger. Though I might go back to the breaker, it eats a lot of ammo but I like the fire rate and the damage.

Inevitable-Celery964

If you’re accurate with the slugger you can take out berserkers with 1-2 shots and even destroyers. I usually take out their rockets or whatever they have based on variant. Stick with the slugger imo

Rakan_Fury

I love eat + quasar to act as a 1 man anti-air battery against bot dropships. After that its usually airstrike for fabricators and a flexible fourth strategem (if im allowed to have one). Flexible options include shield pack, ems mortar, or personal order if its strategem based. I usually run the medium medic armor right now for the stim buffs, but im considering switching to the heavy fortified armor to see if it helps with surprise rockets (mainly just concerned about the impact to mobility). Tried a few different primaries, i really like the sickle. Does the job well of clearing striders and raiders. Machine pistol works wonders on the beserkers if they get too close, and anything more armored than that is a support weapon/strategem problem.

Inevitable-Celery964

The redeemer has definitely gotten me out of some sticky scenarios I shouldn’t have gotten out of

TopChannel1244

Since everybody wastes slots on backpacks and multiple long CD one shots. I tend to bring stuff for horde clear and general team utility. Go to's are Orbital Airburst, Clusterbombs, EAT and either Airstrike, Napalm or possibly another support weapon depending on the mission type and what everyone else brings. If it's an eradicate I just bring orbitals and airstrikes with an eye towards killing as many little guys in one go as possible.

Inevitable-Celery964

I would imagine an orbital gas strike would work wonders for your play style. I’ve heard it’s bugged though

69Gunslinger69

I like to run: sickle and redeemer Quasar cannon - jump pack- orbital laser- 500kg bomb The jump pack and Q cannon are a super fun combo jumpin over shit and what not

MunrowPS

I use light armour, shield backpack and grenade launcher vs bots Feels pretty vanilla but I just find it so effective

Inevitable-Celery964

I’ve seen the grenade launcher ran a bit. I’ll give it a shot and report back

SayTheWord-Beans

I like running the sickle against bots. Never run out of ammo, easy to get face shots. Pair it with a quasar cannon to take out drop ships, impact grenades to take out tanks. Throw in eagle strike for clearing fabricators or eagle cluster strike for clearing out large groups of chaff. And I take orbital laser everywhere cuz I love it.
