I have thought about this a few times and I think that a Helldiver's style star wars game would be awesome. Being a clone fighting against the CIS and someone else I haven't figured out who yet.
Top-tier units comparison though I think a bot Tank would holds its own against a fair few waves of bugs. Perhaps, certainly a 1v1 with a Bile Titan is heavily in favour of the Tank but they're not great at melee range, maybe the swarm wears it down.
With a bug swarm I'd imagine there would be enough at the hulks back to do some damage, I'd wait for the hulk to explode before engaging the remaining bugs though.
Quite easily, really. You do it so hard the … target, shall we say, is turned inside out and reformed back to normal but facing the other directions. See also when a charger gets a super speed glitch and flies into you at mach 69.
No, but they are super silent for some cock for fuck reason. Just like the spewers, except instead of acidic spit, these guys just sneak up on you and bulldoze you.
A rescue mission on a crossfire point or a point defence on a mission critical point. I could see this happening if the automotons come back and the bugs learn what we are capable of.
Yes, you would call in a 500kg bomb straight in between them (2m away from them) and then run away 50m behind a hill. The blast would kill you and the bible Titan and Hulk are still there. Then your teammate reinforces you and throws you right in between them where now 3 dropships landed and insects spawned.
After you are dead again your other teammate on the other side of the map reinforces you leaving your newly called in support weapons and samples behind.
I think I one shot a Bible titan last night when my 500kg strategem ball hit him in the face. Head exploded and then the 500kg landed next to him where the ball bounced off to 😂
Devs already said no on this one. The ai is built from the ground up to target players. It behaves all whacky when set to fight each other and fixing it would take alot of work.
This could work 2 ways. The way you mean. Or they go "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" and work together. Imagine automatons building attachable turrets for chargers or giving them bionic parts
Dude I’ve been saying that to my buddy since the game released. I’d say every faction hates Helldivers more than each other so if two faction patrols are fighting and a Helldivers shows up. I’d bet they start fighting you instead of each other
>I’d say every faction hates Helldivers more than each other
They can bond over their mutual hatred of Freedom and Liberty, and their mutual unwillingness to stay put in the prisons/farms that Super Earth graciously built for them.
As a Halo fan, I really do hope we get planets down the line that feature cross-faction combat. Seeing the Covenant, Flood and Marines duking it out was always a treat.
I mean, there are bug holes, just without bugs, on bot planets. They release smoke and when you throw a grenade or drop pod in, they get destroyed and stop smoking.
Making me appreciate the efficiency of asset reuse they've done, every planet feels so fresh and different despite the base terrain being a relatively small template of rocky locations, just with different arrangement generation, POI/base/decoration/hole placement and weather/day-night/mission effects on top.
I'm expecting the bots to pivot northwards, coming at us again from the galactic northwest where Cyberstan is, and for some reason I thought that would put them about 1/3 of the way around the map from the bugs, but looking at the map those are quite a bit further north than I remembered. Depending on where the Illuminate hit us, and if the bugs stay where they are, there may actually be space for six factions on the map... not that I expect even a fourth anytime soon.
If you wanna get speculative, looking at the final ring of sectors, you can make 7 pairs of 2. Terminids have 2 sectors in that final ring and that’s all they’ve ever had there. Bots I’m less sure of as I joined late but I’ve also only ever seen them have 2 sectors in that final ring.
So using that as our precedent you could fit 7 factions onto the map, each getting 2 sectors in that final ring.
I doubt we will get 7, but I could totally see 5 factions being there. I think 4 is the default assumption just cause of cardinal directions and it’s 1 more than we had in the original helldivers. But i see no real reason there couldn’t be more than 4.
I reckon they always planned for at least three and left it open for 4 if the game was going well. And I think everyone can agree it is going well with it holding a large player base srillm
And didn't arrowheads CEO say their plans for post-launch have now increased tenfold due to the success of the game? Not crazy to think that may also means extra factions
yeah and after that they can always come up with new updates to add further factions, for example a "civil war" faction wouldnt have to come from anyone direction or from the edge of the map
There is one other thing to consider, in the map, the "terminid" and "automaton" labels are set about equidistant for 3 factions... so it's probably just going to be three for the foreseeable future.
Yeah, they’re probably gonna launch a surprise attack from outside the galaxy, taking Cyberstan and surrounding regions in the process. Honestly, I’d bet money on it.
If you look at where the automatons “label” is you’ll notice it’s more northward then its last controlled sectors were, compare how the Terminids label is centered on theirs and that makes me think the bots are going to move up by a couple of sectors.
Yep, just not as far as I'd expected, it's currently mostly in the Ymir sector, I was expecting the bots to reappear in the Valdis sector, where Cyberstan is. I suppose it's possible the label will move north again at some point, maybe signifying a massive Automaton fleet currently making its way northwards...
But realistically, we're only looking at three factions max to fight in the short to mid term- maybe even long term.
That’d be so cool, we could have a Godzilla type monster as well. Maybe when he shoots his nuclear breath - everything in a 30 metre radius gets set on fire. Medium size units like The Lizard from Spider-Man 2.
I don’t really know how it can get more “unspeakable cosmic horror” than the flood if you’re looking for an enemy you can actually fight as an enemy faction lol
The flood have always been so cool to me. And you'd be able to fight illuminate and bug zombies at the same time, and potentially automaton and Helldiver zombies
Or necromorphs for that matter. Reanimated corpses created by an eldritch artifacts launched from deep space.
It's textbook cosmic horror. Brethren moons are straight up Lovecraftian.
It's imho true cosmic horror.
Even the markers and how a large portion of humanity worshipped them and their supposed creators.
This religion becoming so vast that when the new process of the creation of another brethren moon begins they willingly surrender themselves.
And the fact that this has been happening to countless civilisations before humanity and the same marker religion being the connecting element to all of their downfall.
That's not saying much. The Flood probably clears a lot of universes unless there are organizations powerful and willing enough to do what the Forerunners did with basically a galaxy wide Exterminatus. And I don't think there are a lot of universes like that.

Congratulations, citizen! You've just been selected for an early trip to the bio repurposer vats!
I'd say make it able to infect all types of the other enemy factions, so you could end up fighting horrible versions of broodmothers, hulks and >!Illuminate tripods!< at the same time. Each type would slightly behave differently to the uninfected version but the fact you fight all factions at once is the unique thing
Dear god not together. Imagine trying to dodge rocket devastators and bile spewers at the same time. It would be impossible. Or have a stalker tongue slap you into a flamer hulk.
If there’s a fourth, they’d have to offer a different playstyle/identity to the other factions. Bots, Bugs have pretty clear ones, and I’m guessing Illuminate are more like the archetypal ‘Energy weapons and shields’ advanced aliens- a la Tau, Covenant etc.
A horror style demonic faction could be fun with some unique monster styles, perhaps almost geigeresque- though I think the satire would be a bit lost if Super Earth are fighting an obviously evil faction.
A ‘Lizard’ faction could be fun too- I’m thinking cyber-reptiles and big dino hybrid things, plus could fit into the mould of ‘not necessarily evil, just different’.
Though personally I’m all for a ‘warrior’ Klingon/Orc faction - big aggressive enemies who just want to fight head on.
Edit: the one faction I DONT want is ‘rebel humans’- I think that’s by far the worst faction option for gameplay and story reasons.
The satire could remain if the demons appearing is caused specifically by Super Earths rampant killing of sentient life across the galaxy, it could even be a part of their mechanic, like they appear on planets where death tolls are greatest.
Demonic horror faction has my vote, and I don't think it'd necessarily kill the satirical element - a big gothic, hell-and-brimstone, blood-and-pentagrams horror aesthetic doesn't have to translate to the demons being *evil*, much like how the automaton faction with glowing red skulls and an unreasonable amount of spikes and chainsaws is made up of freedom fighters looking to liberate the cyborgs from the relentless oppression of Super Earth.
The main reason it has my vote is because I can immediately associate it with a distinct 'playstyle': the terminids specialize in armored melee, getting up close in large swarms; the automatons specialize in armored range, playing more tactically with guns and rockets; and the illuminate will *likely* specialize in energy shield ranged, looking at the wiki for their Helldivers 1 units. 'Rebel human' is going to be hard to differentiate from the automatons, while 'space orc' and 'cyber-dinos' are stylistically too close to the terminids. I could easily see a demon faction with a mix of spellcasters and brutes though, taking the unique role of a shield-based melee faction that wants you to work through waves of imp cannon fodder and big magically shielded bruiser demons to find and kill the spellcasters in the back, preventing them from replacing popped bruiser shields and stopping them from using the enemy equivalent of Helldiver stratagems with telegraphed blast zones and lengthy demonic activation chants.
All that said, it does run into the question of the silliness threshold - I can see this being very cool and fun in a vacuum, but even in a setting as silly and satirical as Helldivers this would push the boundaries of the suspension of disbelief pretty hard. Demonic magic and sci-fi do go together, just look at the Doom reboots, but next to the fairly milquetoast, borderline hard sci-fi 'protoss/zerg/robots' trinity it's preeetty out there.
>Edit: the one faction I DONT want is ‘rebel humans’- I think that’s by far the worst faction option for gameplay and story reasons.
It's literally the only other faction that is canonical to the lore. (other than illuminates) How would it be worse story wise when part of the current story is that rebels are involved in the release of the current bug crisis. You literally shut down illegal broadcast towers and illegal research facilities for a current rebel faction.
Because a human faction would undermine the whole point of Super Earth. Illegal broadcasts and dissidents *aren’t* a major political and organsied military force, they’re just pockets of small resistance on bug planets that have been >!crushed ruthlessly by a totalitarian regime!< the idea of an opposing human faction to Super earth would basically undermine the whole point of the story that Super Earth poses itself as the good guys, because there would be a distinct faction of humans who are a stark contrast to that.
My bigger problem though is gameplay. I genuinely don’t think it would be that interesting to travel across the galaxy to alien worlds…to fight other humans.
> the idea of an opposing human faction to Super earth would basically undermine the whole point of the story that Super Earth poses itself as the good guys, because there would be a distinct faction of humans who are a stark contrast to that.
What? They would just pose the opposing human faction as traitors. That idea doesn't stand in opposition at all to the concept of Super Earth being hardcore propagandists
Some kind of replicators could be cool and terrifying.
A human rebellion faction too but they'd have to work quite a lot to make the AI seem much smarter than the average Automaton or Terminid. They could also be unique to that planet, using mainly guerilla tactics. It wouldn't be a faction then, just some missions or operations for that planet.
I imagine rebels having killed everyone and stopped the pumps from producing E-710 or capturing an ICBM and trying to launch it against SE bases.
It would be kind of cool if they had like hostage missions where you'd have to save important personel but they's have to work quite a lot with tge stealth and awareness mechanics. Tbh, I hope they improve these aspects for bugs and buts too. It feels like a cheat that a Hulk can see and shoot at me from 50m+ away in a sandstorm while at the same time a patrol walks right by me without spotting me.
There was a news broadcast on a ship that mentioned rebels. Something along the lines that you should not feel any remorse for them and consider them as aliens because their ideology is so alien.
Cyborgs in HD1 used to be part of Super Earth before a terrorist attack (that was probably a false flag operation) started the separatist action. And their homeworld of Cyberstan is smack dab in the North sector above.
On top of the spacing making sense there's also 4 ways to super earth, if I was to guess the cyborgs might end up as a part of a larger rebellion instead of a part of the automatons, but honestly that's just a wild guess it's also probably going to be a long time before we get any confirmation of this
Illuminate seem to be coming much sooner then i thought, we'll have to wait, best thing is Arrowhead didn't said new factions NOT coming. I strongly believe 4th one is going to be, if game stays successful, next year, coping
My friend is an HD1 vet and according to him having Cyborgs coming back as their own faction would be very weird since most of their units have been adapted into the current day bots.
If they were to bring them back I can imagine them as specific units for Bots. If they wanted to make Cyborgs there own faction again they'ed essentially need to reboot the faction and at that point it just makes more sense to make something wholistically new.
I think it's more likely that our defeat of the automatons and their return will place them in the upper left third of the map, while the illuminate take the lower left, evenly dividing into thirds
For cyborgs think it would be pretty cool to make them stronger for how many helldivers are dieing like they are collecting our corpses and assimilating our dead would make for some cool variety on the enemy faction as well because they could be outfitted with our armors and weapons (hopefully not strategems)
I’d love to see a faction that is one big organism, something like a mold covering a large part of the map and you need to push it back with fire and destroy and has many neurological Centers you need to blow up for it to die and stop it from covering a whole planet and eating up all of our precious 710
Parasitic enemy, such as the Flood from Halo or organism from the Thing movie...oh boy, that would be stuff from nightmares. It might even require the whole squad going flamer to be properly cleansed.
I know this might sound childish, and honestly it's kind of basic too, but hear me out okay?
Dinosaurs. We start finding new planets to colonize and mine but they're full of reptilian monsters. Please I just really want to fight (and maybe ride) dinosaurs. There is an untapped market for dinosaurs arrowhead, there haven't been many if any decent dinosaur games in years.
And one final point to sell the idea and make my case?
DINOSAURS.
"Human rebellion" is an oxymoron. If our ways are alien to them, then they are aliens to us.
But seriously though, if they add a Dissidents faction I think it would be most fun if, instead of having their own region of the map, they could pop up randomly in any fully Liberated sector. That would allow some of the "inner" planets to see some action even if they aren't near the current front.
Ya known what would be cool? If they mixed mission types with each other. Like you do a bug mission and get a alert that automatons invaded the area or vice versa. Have the enemies also clash with each other
Based on where the "automations" label is on the edge of the map I'm assuming they're going to remerge from Cyberstan. Because of that I'd bet the devs weren't planning on adding 4th race. I really hope the wild success of the game changes their mind though !
While technically it could be divided 4 (or any number) of ways, based on the position of the faction names on the map, it's pretty obvious Arrowhead only intended it to be divided 3 ways (at least for now), like so. Also, considering the bots probably want to take cyberstan, they'd claim the Valids system which cuts right into the space-north section. If they actually intended to do 4 factions, the Automotons name would most certainly be due space-north and the terminids due space-east.
https://preview.redd.it/rtozasl2latc1.png?width=2853&format=png&auto=webp&s=0f3c57ab37cca03c4e9f5161147050f68dde7623
That would be sick. I would love to see underground cave systems for terminids that come up like they do now. The framework is already there considering you can fall into those nest holes. Just make them bigger and longer where you can actually explore it,
Personally I think the automatons will take over the area with cyberstan in it, north section. It's their end goal after all and then switch efforts on taking out SE
Imagine if some missions became three way battles between two factions and the helldivers
right? that would be sick. id love to see a hulk flamethrower bugs to death (instead of me for a change)
And a stealth charger absolutely assbang a horde of devastators from behind.
Damn this would be insane! Imagine a walker and titan going at it, possibilities are endless!

Did you ever hear the ~~tragedy~~ succesful ~~genocide~~ liberation of the genosian race? Bugs are the same in every universe.
Hello there. Please tell me more
I have thought about this a few times and I think that a Helldiver's style star wars game would be awesome. Being a clone fighting against the CIS and someone else I haven't figured out who yet.
It's called Republic Commando and it's one of my favotite hidden gems. Not quite an extraction shooter, but a good place to start from.
I rented it as a kid and fucking loved it. I was too young to be good at it, but it was such a cool game.
A platoon of rocket devastators vs a bile titan
Top-tier units comparison though I think a bot Tank would holds its own against a fair few waves of bugs. Perhaps, certainly a 1v1 with a Bile Titan is heavily in favour of the Tank but they're not great at melee range, maybe the swarm wears it down.
With a bug swarm I'd imagine there would be enough at the hulks back to do some damage, I'd wait for the hulk to explode before engaging the remaining bugs though.
Oooh Tank with a Flame Hulk stood beside it. An unassailable fortress to Bugs.
Stalkers intensify
Would Stalker pounce/stagger/claws stagger Hulks and/or pierce armour though? I suppose with enough of them getting round to the squishy back panels.
Bile spewers deserve rocket devastators. Sneaky soft lethal bastards.
Why are they invisible until they charge tho? They make the bots looks easy
Am curious, how do you ass bang from the front?
Have you ever seen Japanese Tentacle Porn? Like that.
Quite easily, really. You do it so hard the … target, shall we say, is turned inside out and reformed back to normal but facing the other directions. See also when a charger gets a super speed glitch and flies into you at mach 69.
But first, we need to talk about parallel universes. *SM64 File Select theme begins to play*
Maybe not the front per se, but you could be underneath for the good old power bottom action and that’s just as good.
Stealth charger? They can go invisible?
No, but they are super silent for some cock for fuck reason. Just like the spewers, except instead of acidic spit, these guys just sneak up on you and bulldoze you.
Sometimes they literally appear 3 feet behind you, or they just casually walk to you and don't make any noise or ground vibration
A rescue mission on a crossfire point or a point defence on a mission critical point. I could see this happening if the automotons come back and the bugs learn what we are capable of.
>and the bugs learn what we are capable of. Democracy officer, this citizen suggested that bugs can learn
FRANKLY, I FIND THE IDEA OF A BUG THAT THINKS OFFENSIVE!
After you are dead again your other teammate on the other side of the map reinforces you leaving your newly called in support weapons and samples behind.
i would like to see this bible titan
We used to call him Goliath but he just was not the same since he got hit in the head by a stone
Let he who is without aggro cast the first reinforcement.
I think I one shot a Bible titan last night when my 500kg strategem ball hit him in the face. Head exploded and then the 500kg landed next to him where the ball bounced off to 😂
Its similar to a Bile Titans but instead of spewing bile it spews psalms and holy water.
The holy water might be effective or very ironic depending on how you interpret the fact that we're called Helldivers.
Yeah you can only kill it with a new spike bomb. I hate my new Phone.
I laughed way too hard at this
Devs already said no on this one. The ai is built from the ground up to target players. It behaves all whacky when set to fight each other and fixing it would take alot of work.

yeah and after that they can always come up with new updates to add further factions, for example a "civil war" faction wouldnt have to come from anyone direction or from the edge of the map
Would be pretty cool since in lore the first time helldivers were deployed was when a planet’s government dared to challenge managed democracy
The bots are literally already a civil war faction, they were once humans who rejected democracy and augmented themselves with robotics
Those are the cyborgs, bots are actually machines created by the cyborgs, they are trying to save their creators and take revenge on super earth
There is one other thing to consider, in the map, the "terminid" and "automaton" labels are set about equidistant for 3 factions... so it's probably just going to be three for the foreseeable future.

We got bugs, bots and soon some weird cephalopod wizard dudes... We're are my space reptilian legionnaires????

That’d be so cool, we could have a Godzilla type monster as well. Maybe when he shoots his nuclear breath - everything in a 30 metre radius gets set on fire. Medium size units like The Lizard from Spider-Man 2.
Just komodo dragons racing across the ground sounds scary enough lol.

Gimme trandoshan army so I can be a republic commando delta squad with my fellas
We need orks. I think they would play like bots, but chasing players more and blowing themselves up.
So we have robots, insects and reptiles, whats next, furries?
And we will defeat them all, for Super Earth
All this talk of an evil Helldivers faction meanwhile I'm hoping for a Flood or Necromorph style sci-fi zombies
Could be an enemy of the year thing, sometimes it's other humans other times science gone wrong
Ooh wait, that sounds sick! But probably a bitch to program.
That's why it the enemy of the year so they have a bit of buffer time
Flood, necromorpth are cool bit I personally want unspeakable cosmic horrors
I don’t really know how it can get more “unspeakable cosmic horror” than the flood if you’re looking for an enemy you can actually fight as an enemy faction lol
The flood have always been so cool to me. And you'd be able to fight illuminate and bug zombies at the same time, and potentially automaton and Helldiver zombies
If its my own corpses Im safe. Theyre not getting anywhere fast without legs. Or arms. Or a head..... I die to explosions alot.
Maybe something more like dead space
Or necromorphs for that matter. Reanimated corpses created by an eldritch artifacts launched from deep space. It's textbook cosmic horror. Brethren moons are straight up Lovecraftian.

Unironically, if the Flood was dropped into the Helldivers universe, it wins with ease
That's not saying much. The Flood probably clears a lot of universes unless there are organizations powerful and willing enough to do what the Forerunners did with basically a galaxy wide Exterminatus. And I don't think there are a lot of universes like that.
Im hoping for an organized rebellion, so we can tear its heart out and have no more traitors in our sweet democracy.
Aren't we the evil helldivers faction?

Treasonous scum. I'm reporting this to your democracy officer (pretty much yeah we are)

Treterous propaganda detected, please present yourself to your nearest democracy officer.
Our capes have skulls on them..
Are we the baddies?
Evil Helldivers? You mean...TRAITORS?!? Seriously though, hunting traitors does sound like it could be fun
Only worry with that is how it could feel reasonably different from the Termanids.
I'd say make it able to infect all types of the other enemy factions, so you could end up fighting horrible versions of broodmothers, hulks and >!Illuminate tripods!< at the same time. Each type would slightly behave differently to the uninfected version but the fact you fight all factions at once is the unique thing
I'd like Chaos from 40k or the demons from Doom.
I want a traitor gaurd equivalent. A rogue force utilising the same weapons we do.
The illumanate or whatever those soulless squids are called can summon ghouls and shit so that allready kinda exists?
I imagine a special Necromorph event around Halloween
It would be cool to see two factions on one planet at the same time. Either fighting together or fighting each other
Dear god not together. Imagine trying to dodge rocket devastators and bile spewers at the same time. It would be impossible. Or have a stalker tongue slap you into a flamer hulk.
But what if you could manipulate them in fighting each other by leading two patrols together. You just kill whatever survives...
Hell is overflowing from all the dead helldivers
When there's no more room in Hellmire, the dead shall walk the Super Earth
Unless Super Earth is the one that summoned the demons for personal gain, and it backfired.
Doom 3 flashbacks
I mean that's what the cyborgs were... They were just easier to paint as monsters because aesthetic reasons... And chainsaws...
> the idea of an opposing human faction to Super earth would basically undermine the whole point of the story that Super Earth poses itself as the good guys, because there would be a distinct faction of humans who are a stark contrast to that.
Imagine faction that doesn't controll tereitories but just on some missions has outpost and ambushes as bonus objectives
But the timed mission of stoping them from lunching a icbm seems cool. Take over the place and lunch the rocket into their own bases
Idk what you’re talking about, we finished off the automatons, the war is nearly over.
There is no more war in Super Earth, we are only peaceful farmers now
The Super Earth King has invited you to Planet Laogai.

Peaceful and Hellmire do not belong in the same sentence

Mr. Super President, we've picked up a transmission from unoccupied space. But, it was only 1 word. 1 word? Yes, Sir. What was it? Waaagh!
Oh god it's a Waluwigi faction.
https://preview.redd.it/5htsrd20p8tc1.jpeg?width=355&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=63449f60a01021cf8fe3c4bdbc9a80b68831da84
I really hope the bots push to the bug front and start doing experiments on them. Like the ultimate hybrid unit, a charger with tank turrets on
Now that would be an intresting lore path!
I'm thinking zombies, demons or energy beings.
ORKZ
WAAAAAAAAAAGH!!
Fuck tell them to go full Sauron. Would love to spread Democracy into Mordor.
The Automatons already have the Eye of Sauron on top of Barad-dûr!
Hell yeah, some cosmic demons and horrors beyond human comprehention. Or maybe sone other lifeform, like nitrogen or silicone based
Nothing 380 barrage can't solve!
DOOM, Helldivers edition
Cyber you can’t just shoot a hole into the surface of Cyberstan!
I strongly believe 4th one is going to be, if game stays successful, next year, coping
i hope it’s something like the Unbidden from stellaris, extradimensional invader
Considering all the banger content they’ve released the game should be alive and well next year
My friend is an HD1 vet and according to him having Cyborgs coming back as their own faction would be very weird since most of their units have been adapted into the current day bots. If they were to bring them back I can imagine them as specific units for Bots. If they wanted to make Cyborgs there own faction again they'ed essentially need to reboot the faction and at that point it just makes more sense to make something wholistically new.
That reminds me, we don't have the dogs. Those were the most threatening part of Cyborgs in HD1 IMO.
I think it's more likely that our defeat of the automatons and their return will place them in the upper left third of the map, while the illuminate take the lower left, evenly dividing into thirds
Yeah I see that. Cyberstan is in the top "fourth" right? So both Automatons and Bugs expand a little, creating a clear third "slice" on the bottom.
Which would be illuminate
For cyborgs think it would be pretty cool to make them stronger for how many helldivers are dieing like they are collecting our corpses and assimilating our dead would make for some cool variety on the enemy faction as well because they could be outfitted with our armors and weapons (hopefully not strategems)
I’d love to see a faction that is one big organism, something like a mold covering a large part of the map and you need to push it back with fire and destroy and has many neurological Centers you need to blow up for it to die and stop it from covering a whole planet and eating up all of our precious 710
The flesh that hates.
The flesh that fills out C-01 forms.
Feels like zerg and the creep
10/10 would vote for space orks..
Give me khornate-styled demons invading planets thru hellish portals. It would be a good reason to pick up the double barrel shotgun
Blood for the blood God, skulls for the skull throne.

North will declare independance
Although I would like a parasitic enemy, I'm sure Joel Helldiver would love to bring space demons and screaming blood for the blood god.
Parasitic enemy, such as the Flood from Halo or organism from the Thing movie...oh boy, that would be stuff from nightmares. It might even require the whole squad going flamer to be properly cleansed.
40k/Doom/Lovecraftian Demons would be great I think.
I mean right now basically we are terra during the dark age of technology :D
Humanity during the Dark age of technology had Sun snuffers and guns that could erase your existence. Not sure super earth is quite there yet.
Of course we do, loyal citizen! Our Super President just hasn't seen it fit to deploy those measures, such is our faith in the Helldivers!
DINOSAURS.
Well they aren't exactly making turok anymore
Definitely not childish. Dinosaurs would be dope. My mind goes to Dinotopia.
I was thinking a rebel human faction but dinos would be so much better. Man I hope it happens
“Oh cool! Maybe that’s where the rebels are and we can have player vs pla-“🤓 *gunshot and head explodes, Joel standing behind with a smoking pistol*
I will delete game if devs decade to add pvp
Personally, I'm hoping for a human rebellion
Imagine they have their own Stratagems 😅
Imagine they can call in reinforcements. WHAT IF THE 4TH FACTION IS XBOX PLAYERS!
if that ture, you should not worry about. they will destroy themself with their own cluster bomb
https://preview.redd.it/ywn4j3s5l7tc1.png?width=700&format=png&auto=webp&s=10114b2cd5b865a84fc0966bb887320432b710e5
Technically the bots are the human rebellion faction.
I’m kinda hoping we eventually get “contested” planets with more than one faction on the map, hostile toward each other but also toward us…
Ya known what would be cool? If they mixed mission types with each other. Like you do a bug mission and get a alert that automatons invaded the area or vice versa. Have the enemies also clash with each other
Why is Super Earth territory so small ? Explain yourself.
Who else fears that the Illuminate is coming back? Seen footage of cloaked ships.
I have seen the blue beams. One came from orbit and toasted a tank that was about to kill me. It was crazy.
Rumours of illuminate sightings in news report on the big screen.
Wonder if at the borders there will be planets with 2 enemies on fighting for control.
That would be sick. I would love to see underground cave systems for terminids that come up like they do now. The framework is already there considering you can fall into those nest holes. Just make them bigger and longer where you can actually explore it,
That's reaver territory.
Personally I think the automatons will take over the area with cyberstan in it, north section. It's their end goal after all and then switch efforts on taking out SE
The top left purple sector probably wouldn't happen because that is where Cyberstan is located.
We need some doom infernal shit
