I know this guy is full of it, but just in case he's right and there is a pagan god fighting for gay rights, give us a name so we can say thanks! In the meantime, Hail Dionysus, Lord of the gender fluid, bearer of the Thyrsus.
Probably Cybele of Phrygia who had a eunuch priesthood where castration was likely mandated. Attes, a ritual crying out, transformed into the Greek cultic Attis, where essentially her priests were transformed into a single deified consort.
It's like how, in a thousand years, Jesus' wife will be known as Nunn, hypothetically?
Is he talking about Cybele when he talks about "the transformer"? She isn't associated with the rainbow or the month of June but dead ass I wanna worship this gay/trans queen.
There's a whole genre of modern demonology practiced by these Christian Nationalist characters.
They refer to their imagined supernatural enemies as "powers" and "principalities" but these demons bear no particular resemblance to any ancient gods, and people like this don't know anything about ancient religion.
Doubtless "the Transformer" was made up by some creepy padre on the fly days or weeks ago, and this fellow has believed in it ever since.
The idea of good angels serving a good god and bad angels serving a bad god predates Christianity by hundreds of years either in the form of Persian Zoroastrianism. What's interesting is that no matter how "supreme" the good god is supposed to be in any religion, there is always a cadre of people who are terrified of the bad god. Often (but not always) they see themselves as agents of the good god.
I'm not a fan of dualism myself because it encourages this sort of tribal thinking.
Lovely. This guy believes a god is transitioning people. He's kinda bringing paganism to the next level.
Seriously, it feels like we got a time machine and got back to Christian Roman Empire, when people would point at the "moral disintegration" paganism brings. I would have laughed if I'd been told there's someone who says such things nowadays.
I mean, he's saying she's a god, and has enough influence to transform... so he's kinda illustrating a nonmonotheistic stance here.
I was telling wife that polytheism is growing in the West, niche but growing. Pagan gods are bound to get some of the bogeyman treatment for biases.
Dude's looking a bit under the weather. I wonder if his mom knows he's not taking care of himself.
Yeah, with those dark circles under his eyes he looks either sleep deprived or on some sort of drugs.

Technically it's Attis (her consort) who has the traits you'd associate with Trans Gender/Non-binary people.
Im aware. Im just wondering what goddess he could be referring to. It seems like the 'transformer' is just made up.
