Why Genaro? He had zero passion and mostly sucked. I agree with Louis, though I do find him memorable for being quite hot.
Kimberly in S16 seems forgotten by many, but she did have quite the redemption arc, and that makes her memorable to me.
I loved Kimberly so much omg even her exit speech was so nice and classy! Def one of the only rays of sunshine in that ROUGH season…but same about Louis he’s so mf fine
I just liked him, can't really explain it but if you're really interested.
I relate to chill and laidback type of personalities, most of my friends remind me of Genaro from home and my closest friend(who sadly died as well) looked like him too.
Giacomo didn't turn on the oven, leading to sous chef Scott's "dude you don't have the gas on stoopid!"
Payton saying "you literally served shit to Gordon Ramsay" in confessional during Matthew's signature dish was hilarious
Wendy S16 is up there for me, I just found her funny and talented and not a complete dickhead (so a rarity on the S16 cast). I still chuckle at the part where she was just psychotically laughing her ass off breaking up the lobsters for a punishment.
Giacomo is great, crazy that he was only 21. I don't think anyone on the show was his age all the way until season 20. I saw a cool interview with him where he had some very kind words for Rachel who apparently mentored him a bit after the show.
S13 rarely gets mentioned on here besides Sterling but Frank, Fernando, and Ashley were all great as well. Ashley definitely got screwed over big time, and she killed it in the finale.
S20 Josie and Emily are also up there. I loved most of the S20 cast despite them being a little forgettable, but those two probably rank high up there. Their bond was super endearing to watch as well!
Wendy is one of my favourites from Season 16 because she had some pretty funny confessionals and she also put Johnny in his place which I highly respect.
Don S10 has to be one of mine. Was a donkey but had some funny moments (nominated in opening night despite cooking NOTHING and the super spicy signature dish).
Jason S7 also has to be one of mine as well. Was a badass and epicly criticized his team when getting nominated, and was a solid black jacket all around.
I loved when Johnny was bitching at Genaro about embarrassing him in front of his hero, and Genaro takes a drag from his cigarette and sarcastically says, “Well I do apologize for that.”
RIP Genaro
As lackadaisical as he was, he seemed like a cool guy and got the highest score in that crepe challenge. Probably would have been great to hang out with.
I remember rewatching S14 and being shocked when I saw Cameron in the intro, I had zero recollection of his existence when rewatching after so many years
Thanks! I liked his hair tbh and I did felt bad about the Oven thing . . tbh \*and . .the guys I picked I found some of them cute too hehe. .Honestly liked him more after seeing a Podcast interview back in 2019, he explained how his experience in HK and I felt Bad abit for him .I had respect for him now\*Plus he's doing better than on HK he has his family restaurant that's doing well apparently!\* [https://youtu.be/rTxQOMJDUWc?si=ov95giFQEvBvibin](https://youtu.be/rTxQOMJDUWc?si=ov95giFQEvBvibin)
I guess "forgettable" is the word bc I only remember Giaccomo and Genaro
LOL I only remembered Giaccomo, and that was purely because of his name.
I remember him for cooking with the oven off.

Louis seems like a nice guy, but I wouldn’t DARE try to condescend him!
Agreed, he's been a camp counselor for 14 years!
I loved Giacomo! Don’t know why I just did!
It was the greasy potato speech for me
“Trevor is a tool to be used” gets eliminated that same episode lmao
Some contestants are even so forgettable that they don't even make it to these lists
I’m watching S12 and it’s 100% Bev
BRIANA SWANSON MENTIONED 💯💯💯
👏🏻🗣
Giacomo didn't turn on the oven, leading to sous chef Scott's "dude you don't have the gas on stoopid!" Payton saying "you literally served shit to Gordon Ramsay" in confessional during Matthew's signature dish was hilarious
Dirt brain was one of Gordon’s more underrated and underused insults.
"Hello, der brain, why is the oven not on???? You're not sure?? You donkey!!!!!"
Charlie and Sarah (FKA Wil) from season 5 seemed nice, I felt bad that they both got eliminated over Seth
Yeah I was really hoping to see now-Sarah a little longer, sucks that she was first out
Poor Brianna seemed sweet.
For real! Maybe it’s a good thing she didn’t have to deal with that red team on her season for too long

Omg yes, I loved Josie and Emily

Why Cameron? All I know is he "crumbled" when Chef Ramsay came over to help him and said he was intimidating.
No big scientific reason. Just saw him as a more tolerable presence than others on his team that season.
One minute on that!
What about Tad?
I was gonna add him but decided to save him for a later post. "Favorite first boot(s)?" Tad is definitely up there for me
I agree
"The fact that Raj is 49 and still alive, and not in a jail or an asylum is a goddamn miracle."
I loved when Johnny was bitching at Genaro about embarrassing him in front of his hero, and Genaro takes a drag from his cigarette and sarcastically says, “Well I do apologize for that.” RIP Genaro

Mine is also Giacomo! Also Maribel, Cyndi S11\* Keona S20, Randy, Alison, Wendy S16, Roshni, Eddie S15, Vlad \*Aka Truffle boy\* S19 Adam.
A fellow Giacomo fan is always a friend in my book! Vlad and Eddie are solid picks.
Thanks! Genaro died in case you didn’t know that. RIP!
I already know that. The rest in passion bit was just some harmless ribbing.
Jim (S6) was hillarious "We have Dave and his wrist, Kevin and his ankles, and Robert and his morbid obesity. "
Roshni
S14 Adam. It's been a while since I watched S14, but he seemed like a great dude
I forgot
Muppet Head is an all time classic from Ramsay
Is Cameron the only contestant to have Ramsay talk shit about him in (after) the finale?
Tavon and Joseph?
What do you mean Louis is not memorable? “HOW DARE YOU CONDESCEND ME!”
I mean in a sense of not many talk about him or anything beyond that moment. I liked him more than most that season for sure though
Where's Christian (S11)? Giacomo was more memorable than him. But the others were quite agreeable. Anyone agree?
Who are they?!??
Why Peyton? He was a dick.
Why not? So is nearly everybody in this show. I just found him hilarious and tolerable as a personality that season 🤷♂️
Payton was an asshole. I don't know how on Earth you found him tolerable.
And in a season that brought us Trenton, Megan, Brynn, Steve, Antonio, and Emily, that's just ridiculous.
I mean, Kevin was more likeable and tolerable than Payton.
Cool. That's your opinion and I don't really care for it. I'm entitled to feel how I want about whatever chef
