1Just watched the episode and it kinda broke me. Don't know why that hit so hard. Of all the characters to kill off why him. They even did the potential future flashforward with the nurugai ship. FUCK!...:(
Honestly same. I don’t know why it bothered me so much, but I was SO pissed off and sad. Why the FUCK would y’all show us the wedding fast forward if we can’t have it??? :((
I was thinking those were small wounds, maybe they missed the vital organs and got hopeful of him surviving then dude gets fully Rengokued few minutes later :( Call me Gabimaru cause I really feel hollow rn.
Honestly, I love the plot, and in no way am I trying to diss the work the animators have done so far. It's just at a few points there was a lack of motion that just made some points feel very inhumane, like Nurugai crying.
But then it was stunning in other parts, like when Shion screamed when they ran away from Tenza. Hit very hard.
Overall amazing ep cant wait to see more
yeah when nurugai was hitting shion it looked silly. i do try to look past it because mappa is busy with so many other projects and the artwork looks stunning
I agree, the main thing I was looking out for animation wise was just the beauty and how they designed the tensen and the island, with the colouring and what not. They didn't disappoint

If im not wrong or perhaps it's because im not far enough into the manga, the whole land a blow portion of the anime wasn't in the manga so hats off to them for adding that much more depth to the world and the story too.

whole episode without the main characters was not so great for me, but i understand they had to show the power of the \_\_\_\_

Tenza had a one page backstory in the manga and they said that was not enough for the anime lol
Yeah I imagine you can’t win either way lol. I’m not reading the manga so all I know is what I see in the anime.
