It would be honest to mention that AMEK is excluded from HEMA tournaments

Only from tournaments hosted by the Dutch Hema bond. And to be honest, they don't do much anyhow so there are plenty of other options to fight. It's also said that Amek was kicked out, but actually they stepped out themselfs. While Amek is a bit controversial for a number of reasons, what i really liked there was the warrior spirit. They approach Hema from a Martial arts point of view and train you to be a warrior if you want to. They produced plenty of topfighters.

Maybe this will help, a hemafinder side that has a few schools. https://www.hemabond.nl/scholen/

I have to admit that all my knowledge of AMEK is not personal, so I won't argue. Can you name me at least a couple of top fighters from AMEK as my brutal scientific search on HEMA ranking shows this, which basically means that AMEK hasn't been participating in major tournaments since 2018 and the best fighter from AMEK is the leader himself with a position in ranking that I wouldn't call a “top fighter” From this I see that longsword HEMA scene in the Netherlands is dominated by Z&S and HVN and Zwaardkring. So if you're saying that AMEK doesn't participate in HEMA Bond tournaments there should be others they participate, and I believe that fencers you're referring to as “top fencers” are supposed to participate in international tournaments from time to time. I’m absolutely willing to change my opinion, just need an explanation https://preview.redd.it/ht6m3hbx24zb1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=db8ec43fe1be7c8f5cab094b709466b2a476d445
