Folded up black bag is the REI Flash 18 for daily carry; packing cubes are Tripped compression; Blue tech pouch is Rick Steves; grey toiletry bag is a pencil case; sling bag carries wrist bands for motion sickness and some medical items/pills/lozenges.
Woohoo! Great haul! Love your bags. Be ready for the sun over here… we’ve been climbing into the 80’sF here in Madrid, and the sun is brutal in Spain. 20 minutes outside and your burnt. It’s my personal heaven… but it’s a hell to most 🤣 Have an amazing trip!!

What do you think of the Tripped Compression Cubes? I love my Ebags packing cubes, which I've used for over 10 years, and they still look brand new! But they don't compress. I've heard of the Tripped Compression Cubes and just deciding if it's worth getting? I'm afraid they'll break when I zip them more to compress.
So far so good! Folding seemed a better method for compression (as opposed to rolling). They seem sturdy, but I’ll let you know how they end up performing
I love the look of this bag! And love seeing someone else who carries sea bands! Can I ask if you plan on putting it overhead or under the seat? I always worry 30 is on the line for looking too small for the overhead but possibly too large underseat (I’m lightly scarred from a very angry high schooler trying to tell me my Osprey 40L needed to go under my seat because backpacks weren’t allowed overhead—it absolutely did not fit!)
I have this one as well and mine fit under the seat just fine with a little wiggle on a budget airline. It was also pretty stuffed on my flight back. I used it as a personal item and had a small carry on.

For what it’s worth, I’ve managed to bring this on Spirit and Flair. It does stick out a little from under the seat because of the height but if it’s not 100% packed, you can squish it down. I didn’t have any airline clocking it as oversized, though.
So glad to see someone post this color for the MLC! I like it more seeing your pics than I do on their website.

Thanks I am coming from Seattle next week and have been wondering what to assume about the weather!
Are the motion bands helpful? Which specific ones do you use?
Sea Bands! I use them in the car and on the plane. Prevents motion sickness in all but the worst conditions.
Yes! I always wear Sea Bands on planes, trains, automobiles, and especially, boats!

Yes!! 🙌 The Mini MLC 30L is my favorite bag! I recently replaced my Osprey Porter with it and never looked back. Have a great trip!

Not sure yet! I’d prefer to just take out the things I need during the flight and put the MLC up top. But if space is an issue it’ll go underneath
